The Lake George and Adirondack region is known for its spectacular scenery, outdoor activities, and you guessed it—waterfront access and camping. Explore the area further on more than 100 islands, one with over 300 campsites, others with as little as one, and don't forget to bring your motorboat, canoe, kayak or rent a boat to get around. Find waterfront campsites to watch the sunrise from, stay at a homestead and learn about local organic farming in between paddling the lake, or try glamping in the mountain accompanied by warm sunsets and s'mores. While tent or cabin camping at Lake George, know that there are endless activities to choose from, including picnicking on day-use islands, island camping, paddling, fishing, and just about anything you can imagine under the sun, and next to a giant body of fresh water. Stay awhile with RV resorts in the area, and don't forget to take a day trip around the lake to visit nearby amusement parks, wineries, breweries, shopping, and beaches!
Paddling on Brant Lake from our dock and put-in.
Main campsite.
Aerial view of the Mill Pond.
View of The Hub from the other side of the pond. Camping is at treeline above solar panels.
Another view of the solar panels. The campsite is above them on top of the hill. They're sized to produce all of the electricity The Hub uses in a year. They even tilt and rotate to track the sun!

Hot air balloons are a popular activity in the Lake George area. One of the nation's oldest gatherings is every September in Glens Falls.
Spring fed brook widens to a small pond and there is a level area the size of a small RV or van or car where you can just hangout by the water and have a fire. Water is always clean never any algae slow moving stream.
Some fall photos of the trees near the pond.
Spring fed brook continues across the road and goes into big brook. Heard there is trout fishing that can be accessed with a small kayak.
I have taken a refreshing dip in the the few times I have been able to stay at the property. Nice clean water sometimes mucky on the bottom but gets better as we use the water.
