Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Rainier. There is a lot of history on this property for our family and we hope by sharing it with others they will be able to experience some fun here as well.

Wilderness Path creek camp

98% (104)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 5 · Vehicles under 20 ft
The creek camp site is tucked on the back corner of the property and a little more private than the RV site. We are now offering a shared porta potty for guest.  A key for the porta potty will be inside a glass mason jar at your camp site or in wood shed to the right of porta potty. The space is long with different options for tent set up. Seating & a fire pit are available along with wood bundles for purchase.  Wood can be purchased on line or after arrival.  Creek camp is further away but traffic noise during the day is possible with the Park entrance being so close. Wilderness Path Field camp site 1

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 35 ft
Open field & all day sun so we provide a shade tent for guest. You may see deer and Elk grazing or just passing through as well as ducks and cranes flying over.  At some point you will probably see my little white ROXY dog roaming the property. The entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park less than a mile away.  Fire wood for purchase on website or after arriving.  Porta potty key is located in a glass mason jar at your campsite or in the wood shed to the right of the porta potty.During the daytime there will be traffic noise with so many people wanting to explore MT. Rainier.  Being new to this business it is very helpful when guest message me about questions, concerns or suggestions about the site. I would like to make things comfortable for present and future guest.. Some photos were added by guest & are actually photos of our RV site. TEXT MESSAGE PREFERABLY

This campsite is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to the Mt Rainier park entrance, making it an ideal spot for hiking enthusiasts. Many guests appreciate the clean facilities, spacious and well-kept sites, and the quiet atmosphere, particularly at night. However, some reviews mention road noise during the day and occasional traffic congestion near the entrance, which can affect the arrival experience. Despite these concerns, the site is generally well-regarded for its convenience and natural surroundings.
