Past trips
Sunset City
in Jeffs Secret Park Entrance, CaliforniaGreat stay for one night as part of a longer road trip. Having water/power options was great. The highlight was definitely the direct access to the preserve right behind the land, great walking and views, also saw the wild burros on the hills in a few areas during our walk. The road was a bit rough and bumpy on the way in but we made it no problem in our 2wd Sprinter.
Wild Burro Desert Retreat
in Wild Burro Desert Retreat, ArizonaThis was a very nice place to stay, not too far off the highway yet still totally private. Having water and power available while being so quiet was a really nice option, we had an amazing sunset. The hosts were very communicative and we wished we could have stayed longer.
Basecamp 138 Desert Ranch
in Basecamp 138 Desert Ranch, CaliforniaGreat location, very pretty with views of the hills. Super quiet but within range of cell service. We only stayed one night as part of a road trip but it was very nice
Happy Gray Coyote
in Happy Gray Coyote, CaliforniaRedwood Forest Raven Haven 1
in Redwood Forest Raven Haven, CaliforniaThis was a great stay, a level spot off a quiet road with a nice couple of chairs, fire pit (not used due to fire restrictions) and even some string lights. It was easy to find and convenient to the local sights around Mendocino.
Jug Handle Creek Farm
in Jug Handle Creek Farm, CaliforniaIt was a nice place to stay in a great location. A bit muddy with all the rains but no issues getting in and out. Some spots were more exposed than others, unfortunately for our first night we were next to a very noisy group, but definitely more spaced out than most of the campgrounds around.
Flyin H Ranch
in Savannah’s Events @ Flyin H, TexasThis was a lovely site next to a lake. There were goats nearby, site was pretty level and we had plenty of privacy.
Rock Flower Ranch
in Camp Joshua Tree Finds, CaliforniaSite was just as described. We weren’t there long, just overnight on a cross country trip but I would recommend.
Mountain Majik
in Mountain Majik, MontanaMountain Majik
in Mountain Majik, MontanaThis farm is so beautiful, surrounded by mountains. There is power and water, everything you’d need, and the horse farm is lovely. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with us and we had to leave earlier than planned due to other unrelated issues, but would love to come back some time.
