Great little spot. Super quiet and the deck made everything real nice. The host was super responsive as well.
Parking is easy, right near the spot. Only 5 mins from a gas station, and about 15 for Troy and Albany.
You could fish off the shore, and watch beavers and birds all over.
Didnât kayak because of weather. But kayak rental is $15 a day.

Great little spot. Stephanie greeted us at the entrance and showed us to our site. The sites were marked off and was easy to park my truck right next to our spot.
The spot itself was great (site 1) and it was near the water. The fire pit was clean and had some logs next to it as well. They did have a porta John near the entrance but I brought my own little fun tent.
The little boat was so much fun for my son and the water was so pretty. Not many bugs, no bees that I noticed, the mosquitoes werenât event that bad and usually I am a buffet for them.
Just a little heads up for people picking this place, it is near the road but the noise dies down in the evening, and itâs a residential road anyways. The spots are somewhat near but nothing that it was extremely loud or anything. Be aware as well that if you have site 1, you are near the boat so people will be walking around to get to the boat. Also, Rose apple farm was nearby which had good beer, thereâs a train dinner down the road and a CVS if you forgot anything.
Reigning Hope Mini Farm
in The 1895 Farm Camp, New YorkAmazing host!
Place was amazing! It was me and my son (5 years old) and we enjoyed staying by the pond. It is behind their barn but they have no lights up at night which is amazing. It is off a road, but at night there's hardly any noise. Good side is that its down the street from a big gas station ( sandwiches there are really good btw)
I picked this location because its near Mohank Park and I took my son to do the labryanth trail which isn't to bad for a 5 year old BTW.
Some things you should know;
1. You cant park near your camp spot, but they do provide you mode of transportation for all your gear which is also guided for the area. I had Rick show me around and he was super nice and chill.
2. The pond is stocked with catfish so come prepared and have some fun. Catfish like chicken necks.
3. The spot is leveled and the bathroom is nice, didn't have any issues with ticks or ground bugs.
4. In the morning, Casey should us around and let us hang out with the chickens, ducks, and the minature horses and ponies which btw she gave me a great little class.
Rustic Ridge View Farm (near Gunks)
in Gunx Camping On A Horse Farm!, New YorkGreat place to get away
Quiet, peaceful, and good location to nice parks. Easy drive from the city as well. Spots were great. They are slightly near each other but no big deal for the great view of the sky at night. Bathroom are porta Johnâs so ensure your significant other is prepared. Bring TP and water. No water source nearby, but Walmart is down the road if you got the bubble guts. Some sites are off camber but itâs all doable. Be careful if it rained recently as this is a pasture area.

in Sierra Circles Sculpture Garden, CaliforniaGreat location and spot
Great location!!! This place was way more then I expected for sure. Brought out my family and another family with 4 year olds and they loved it. All the cool sights were great to look at. The bathrooms were clean, the site was great. We had site 4, but site 3 was near by but far enough away as well. All shaded areas also.

in The Paddocks, CaliforniaSerenity and no reception!
Love this place! My family and I drove from the Bay Area and itâs well worth it. Brought my 4 year old son and wife. Itâs quiet, thereâs no reception, the beach is a walk away. Would recommend bikes if you have them.
Thereâs a campground next door that has a little playground, and a store just in case you donât have some stuff. Would recommend going downtown and checking out the supermarket.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Just a little heads up. Thereâs disk golf and also a new bathroom there as well.
