We are opening our land to campers as a means of keeping the habitat mostly undisturbed . The land had been up for subdivision, since it adjoins our other 17 wooded acres we purchased it. We want to share it with other nature loving beings. The lake is home to Kingfishers, Herons, a Great White Egret, Wood ducks, swans and Bald Eagles. Wooded lakefront camping in the heart of the Hudson Valley, on 64 acres. Close to the Hudson River, Bard college, historic villages of Rhinebeck and Red Hook. Dining, mansions, walks, hiking, bike trails, Antique shops, Culinary institute of America. Catskill mountains are just across the river with loads of attractions. Private 9 acre lake, we have a complimentary row boat for our guests to share. Bring your own kayaks but no swimming . Top picks of best nearby activities Griegs Farm pick your own and gourmet farm store 3 miles also 2 other pick your own farms within a 3 mile radius Rose hill farm and Mead farm. Village of Red Hook 5 miles (grocery store, restraunts, Shopping) Town of Rhinebeck 8 miles ( fancy shops, fancy dining, ) Zabriskies Waterfall. We loved staying at this site! The sunset over the water was beautiful and the row boat was an added bonus. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful land and the hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. Going out on the lake in the row boat was a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful land with lake and boats!
I highly recommend this camping site. Stephanie and Herb are both so lovely and welcoming. I lucked out and had the whole place to myself, and Stephanie showed me every campsite and let me take my pick! I stayed right by the lake and took the rowboat out (there's a rowboat and paddle boat you can use at no extra charge). Right now there is a porta-potty on site (very well maintained) but I know they have plans to add actual bathrooms and showers. I am definitely interested in coming back for more camping.

I enjoyed everything about this stay. I arrived later in the day so having the host greet me right at the entrance to show me around was super helpful. Beautiful scenery and nice cozy spot overlooking the lake. And the breakfast sandwich is a must! I would absolutely stay again if I’m in the area
