They're right next to each other, only divided by a private drive, and are both run by the same owner. Our office is located in the two-story building that says Wind Mountain Resort. We also offer a Glamping Unit with a kitchenette and three beds. Centrally located in the Columbia River Gorge, our RV Park offers a unique vantage point to experience the breathtaking beauty and spectacular waterfalls cascading from basalt cliffs, including the renowned Multnomah, Bridal Veil, and Latourell Falls. Our area also offers the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and three volcanoes, Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Saint Helens, the Bonneville Dam and wineries, brewpubs, museums, and so much more. Our RV Park is not just a place to stay; it’s a gateway to unforgettable experiences in nature. Cancellation policy: you will receive a full refund if you cancel at least one week before your scheduled check-in. Disclosure: We're sure a lot of Hipcampers look for seclusion and peace and quiet, but that's not what you'll get at our park. Although our sites are spacious and the grounds are beautiful with impressive views, we're located along busy State Highway 14 and there's also a train coming through at all hours of the day and night (far more often than we like). Light sleepers, please ask our host for complimentary earplugs or bring your own.

25 years in the making from a cattle ranch and alfalfa pasture to a scenic wildflower and wildlife haven, our farm is a working winery and vineyard. We have reestablished native wildflowers and grasses back into our vineyard in order to help conserve native prairie habitat. 80 percent of our land is oak woodland and is in the process of restoring itself from the aggressive grazing of cattle. Therefore, our farm provides a shelter for deer, turkeys, hawks, and bobcats. We enjoy these animals and give them the space that is due for sharing the land. We do almost all of our work by hand and do not own a tractor or much other farm equipment so our farm is a quiet and relaxed setting. Our property lies in a seasonal creek bottom that is an infrequent source of water in our area. Because of this all of our household water and agriculture is run from a spring and wildlife come from a distance to replenish their thirst.

About

Windsurfing at Stonehenge! Um, what? You'll find both of these at this state park, which combines some serious history in the Maryhill Museum. It was built by Sam Hill to house his amazing art collection. He also built a full-scale replica of Stonehenge, just for fun.

As for the windsurfing, the Columbia River is world-class. Enjoy boating, fishing and splashing around along the 4,700-foot waterfront. It's all about the water here, since the single hiking trail is only a mile long.

This state park is ideal for RV camping, with 50 full hookup RV sites, including several that can accommodate 60-foot RVs. They're nicely spaced for privacy with some great views of the river.

While there are 20 tent campsites as well, you may find them a bit noisy due to the highways and railroad tracks nearby.
