Our fall trip was successful and we enjoyed our stay. We arrived with all supplies needed (water, portable toilet, fire pit, etc) which was a good decision. On arrival, the directions didn't make it super-obvious where the camping options were, but we explored a little bit and found a really lovely space that was isolated, and had really nice views. We enjoyed a walk along the property line one afternoon, but otherwise mostly just spent time at camp relaxing. It's great having an option like this close to Portland for folks like us who enjoy quiet and have the gear to stay comfortable when self-supported.

Absolutely loved the view there were so many deer it was amazing!! GPS was wrong about the end location but a nice lady who lived close by helped us get to the location it was a little further down the road just look for the mail box with the right address and you will find it 10 out of 10 recommend staying here

Came out here last minute to watch the Persied meteor shower. Found a wonderfully seculeded spot with wide open views of the night sky and two volcanoes. The spot was "stellar" s🤩

Amazing location. No problem finding it. The only downside was another party that showed up on the middle of the night and seemed clearly lost and spend a lot of time trying to figure out where they were (with no lights or signs I wouldn’t recommend getting there after dark).

Quiet and calm, stunning view. Definitely get there before sunset. The screaming chickens gave us a jolt in the night but overall a seamless stay.

Solitude, silence, minimal light pollution, big view reminds us of how small we are, no neighbors, find your own place, super friendly host, cool organic farm to tour - lots of pros.

This was a great place to camp! I had a little section all to myself with a view of both Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens, and the camp host, Rachel, was very kind and helpful. They have spots to camp in that are right next to the farm itself, as well as spots like mine that are more remote.

Lovely place to stay after our gravel biking - quiet! We pitched our tent by the barn instead of on the hill because of high winds. Nice hot shower and bathroom available. Watched the sunset on the hill with views of Adams & Hood. Birds, coyote howls and gorgeous views of the surrounding hills with loads of stars at night. Farm has lots of character and Rachel and Sean were great hosts.

This place is amazing! Highly recommend. Absolutely stunning views, and extremely peaceful. The host is super nice and helpful. Our GPS tried having us turn at the wrong house, but he came right over and led us to the sites. It was a friday night and there was nobody else there. This place is worth the money. If it rained recently though, you def need 4wd. If it was muddy I don’t think our 2wd promaster would make it.

Magical! The views. The sunset. The stars. The land. I was the only camper which was part of the magic. The drive from The Dalles is also stunning. A place to unplug and recharge. (However T-Mobile reception was excellent).

This is a beautiful spot to spend a night stargazing with sunset views of both Mount Hood and Mount Adams. We were grateful to find this peaceful spot last minute on Memorial Day weekend. We stayed one night and were quite happy with the find. Others were staying at another camp spot about 100 yards away and there is a house on the property. Still, it felt private. The only downsides were no water or toilet, which we knew, but just something to be aware of and be prepared. I would definitely stay there again!

Covered Camping on 1462 Acres #2
We originally booked a different side and git moved. The other side has a spectacular view of Mt Hood and the lands around it.
We could still use the bathroom which was a little drive but not at all a problem as we only used the shower before bedtime with the kids.
We went there with our tend, family of 4, 2 kids under 7. Worked out perfect for a weekend.

We had a great experience at Carbon farm! The setting we had was absolutely stunning at the camp site top of the hill. The sunset views of Mount hood and Mount Adams were breathtaking. We also enjoyed the super fresh micro greens and salad greens from Rachel. This camp is A+ and highly recommended.

Well, it wasn’t the spot we were expecting because they relocated us to their other property, however, the new spot was gorgeous! We had an amazing view of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. The only ammentity was a water spigot, no toilet. Worth it, though!

*There weren’t any portapotties, as the ad had indicated, but the host had an empty Airbnb they let us use the bathroom in, within a very short strolling distance. Worked out perfect.

The host met me on arrival and led me to a lovely spot on their farm. Very private, beautiful scenery. I was attempting to get my van in a level spot and managed to get stuck in some mud that was hidden beneath the pasture grass. The host went above and beyond - they spent several hours helping me get out and were so kind and patient about the whole thing. Once that was done, I settled in for a nice quite evening. Would definitly stay again!

Looks as though there's a lot of projects underway at this regenerative farm! Hosts were welcoming, despite being somewhat surprised we were coming, and were very helpful in getting us oriented. We had a lovely spot near the barn, with plenty of room to set up our two tents, make dinner under cover of the shed and ample view of the night's glorious sky. Goats, chickens and kittens abound but weren't troublesome at all. We walked to the top of the hill for epic sunset views, kids explored the barn loft and we really appreciated the unique spot to reside for a night!

The site was precisely as described. Beautiful views. Never met the host which was perfectly fine as there were no issues to speak of.
Being anxious when GPS instructions don’t match up with written instructions seems to be a thing for me lately. =O/
The host made a point of saying that the addresses were irregular in the area, by way of warning. Note: you will travel a mile or more on gravel road before making the right turn into their driveway.

We tent-camped at this beautiful place and got exactly what we wanted, fantastic views at a quiet and peaceful place. Deer, birds, pond. Great host, gave us multiple options. We camped pretty far from facilities so had to drive to the bathroom, but that was our choice and we were glad to have peace and quiet. We will be back! to this fabulous place.
