There is no water or sewer on site, but there is water available at home to fill rv fresh water tank.

Beautiful land and wonderful owners. They were very kind, laid-back, and made us feel nothing less than welcomed. They even provided us firewood to use!
The space was spacious and serene. Quiet despite being in a neighborhood of sorts. There were little to no insects causing us problems when we visited.

Quiet location with a beautiful view of his pasture. You could see his horses from the campsite & they made the visit even more enjoyable. Pull thru site with easy access to all hook ups. Strong WiFi which is located right at Campsite #2. Rusty is a absolutely superb host. Would highly recommend campground to anyone looking for a private site. Very peaceful location.

Weekend Trip to Serenity on the Saluda
Hideaway was the perfect little spot tucked away in the woods but close to the river! It borders a large field that was perfect for our pups zoomies! The outhouse was well maintained and stocked with simple toiletries. The campsite came with a fire pit as well. We loved Serenity on the Saluda and will be back!

I really enjoyed this spot by the river! The perfect amount of space for our tent, a campfire, a charcoal grill, and a small SUV. One site could easily fit 2 more tents and maybe 2-3 cars.
We absolutely loved being right on the river. Casted the fly rod most of the time, but I think it was too early in the season for trout. Still, my husband and I plan to come back!
The campsites are all spaced out nicely—2 are directly on the river: one behind where we stayed, and another to the right. You could easily have a bunch of friends and family all stay together if you booked them together.
Also, those 3 sites share a well-kept outhouse.
Fortunately, we were the only ones there at the time, so we got to explore the river’s edge and check out the other sites. Can’t wait to book again!

We came in late and was setting up camp in the dark when we heard footsteps coming towards us from the forest. It's when we realized a cute little kitten had wandered over to hang out with us. We told the campsite owner and they were really friendly. Our group had such a great time, and the kitten hanging out with us all night made it even better.

So, I'm going to make this a positive review, because I had a great time there and the folks that worked at the Golden Grove Farm & Brew were really nice, accommodating, and helpful. Heck, I even ended up joining their yearly mug club while I was there. However, no one there knew that they were using Hipcamp, or what that was. They thought that they were only using Harvest Host. Hipcamp has 4 active sites that were supposed to be away from the brewery with picnic tables and fire rings, but that area was closed, or not open yet, I couldn't get a definitive answer on that. Either way, there were road cones blocking the entrance to where those were located the whole time I was there. I booked site #4 for five days, but I just ended up sleeping in their parking lot. This wasn't a huge deal for me, but it wasn't what I reserved and paid for. I will say, that place is spitting distance from the interstate, and I could hear road noise from tractor trailers hitting their J-brakes basically turning my van into a sub-woofer. If I parked towards the back, closer to the disc golf and dumpster, it wasn't as bad. Anyway, I sent the owner, who runs the Hipcamp stuff himself, a message on the 11th, and today, the 17th, he still has never bothered to reply. So, end story, I had a great time at the brewery hanging out, the beer was good, I met a lot of cool people, I will go back (since I joined the mug club), but it was very disconnected, concerning Hipcamp, and no one knew what was going on.

I stayed here two nights in my campervan with my rescue beagle and the land was beautiful, serene with the creek on one side and a short-leaf pine forest on the other. Beautiful area. Full hook ups. Check in and location directions were clear. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Blissfully quiet at night.

I had a great five nights day at Big Creek. It was very cozy and wooded. Nice places to walk my dogs. The shower and bathroom facilities were warm and well kept. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely the best one I’ve been to so far. Lovely, clean, easy to get in and out, and very private. Even has a little covered area with lights and a fan. If you’re driving through Saluda, this is the perfect spot for an RV or tent. Oh! And James is super nice and very helpful. He shows that he truly cares about his property and guests.

Easy to read signs for different campsites, very nice host, and peaceful setting by the river. Also a generous amount of firewood for a reasonable price. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again.
