The ONLY campground on Lake Monticello! Lakeshore Family Campground offers 5 full hook up campsites - water, electric, and sewer. As well as a Vintage Cruiser 23MBS for rental. LFC does not have a bathhouse and we do not allow tent camping. Please make sure to look at the uploaded map in the photos and don't trust the generated Hipcamp map about location of sites. LFC is located just 1.4 miles from the nearest boat ramp and 1.5 miles from the Recreational Lake and Park. We have a private dock and kayak rentals available for guests. Whether you're traveling to the area for work or looking for a quiet getaway for the weekend, Lakeshore Family Campground is the perfect place to stay!

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Escape to the lake in our charming Vintage Cruiser 23MBS! Tucked into our family campground on Lake Monticello, this cozy camper is perfect for a weekend getaway for one or two, a couples retreat, or a fun mother-daughter or father-son adventure. Relax on the private deck in Adirondack chairs, gather around the fire pit, and enjoy a slower pace surrounded by the outdoors. There is one fold down murphy bed as well as the dinette converts into a bed. Please make sure to view pictures to understand the space you are reserving. This space has everything you need for an amazing weekend away or a longer week long vacation!

Quiet, small compound for no more than 6 campers. You are on top of a hill from which you can glimpse the lake. Walk down the well maintained path and onto the dock and the view of the lake opens up. I enjoyed bird watching and star gazing while I was there. I plan to return.

Vintage Cruiser 23MBS
Owners communicated very well, stopped through on Saturday morning and introduced himself. Was receptive to a suggestion I made for the campsite - they had brought in crush and run, but had a low point where my passenger side tires sat making it unlevel. He gave suggestions for things that were happening in town. The dock is brand new, site was clean. Visited the Lake Monticello Recreation area not far which was also nice. Can’t beat the price, would recommend, especially for a group of campers! Rent all 6 sites and enjoy the group fire pit together!

We loved this site on Lake Monticello. Very easy as far as directions and ability to pull into the campsite very smoothly with our 35 ft camper(we stayed in site 1)! We loved how calm and quiet the campground was, and it was definitely a plus being able to go down to the lake straight from the campsite! Our dog even got to enjoy the lake for a little bit as well! As this was our first time at this campground, definitely 10/10 recommend and will come back and camp again! And the owners are very nice and friendly!

Very well kept campground, peaceful part of the lake. Neighbors behind us were loud until 11:40 pm, right outside our bedroom window, but that wasn’t the host’s fault at all. Besides that, it was amazing! I’d definitely come back.
