There is 20 amp electric (which can safely power a 30 amp rv unless you run too many things at once) and water (hose). There is a porta-potty and a shower shed with a tankless water heater for your convenience. We also offer the option of a small bunk room in the barn. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels. 1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting. Weekend Trip to River View Dome - Goode Time Ranch

One of the most unique and enchanting places to visit I’ve been to in 36 years. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start. The views of the river and surrounding forest were incredible. The place kept warm with a pellet stove and propane heater. We enjoyed a small walk through the woods, axe throwing, soccer, playing with goats and chickens and the sauna. It was also wheelchair accessible. There was great food options within 10-15 mins of the property and the host even made a fresh egg breakfast for us with fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. We also enjoyed the cozy vibes of the dome at night by the fire. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but one was available. Would highly recommend and we will be back.

Peaceful property tucked away from the hustle. The tent is spacious and well furnished. I enjoyed the solitude and wood fire stove. There was a little calico feline concierge there to greet me but didn't wear a collar. After a shirt conversation we agreed their name would be Dr Concierge Dribble, as they drooled when pet. They were friendly and well behaved, be kind to Dr Dribbles if they pay a visit. Awesome break in a tucked away paradise.

I loved camping with Kelly, she was super quick with questions we had about the property before and was quick to respond about any problems we had on the property. She was so sweet and provided a great egg breakfast. It was great to play with the animals and feed them little treats provided by Kelly. The pellet heater was a lil tricky to learn at first but once we got the handle of it we stayed nice and warm while it was snowing and freezing temps outside the dome. Overall I loved the experience at the goode time dome. So much so we didnt want to leave, and would love to come back. If yall are thinking of spending time at the dome, please do. I cant wait to come back down if we are in the area <3

Wonderful little slice of property! Directions are clear, setup is simple, lodging is as advertised. We loved our stay in the little A frame cabin - clean, cozy, comfortable. We rented a buddy heater to keep warm & it worked great, only needed it for about an hour. Nestled the two beds together to make one large space. Used wagons to help transport goods down to the cabin & were grateful they were available. Host is responsive and kind - swapped some farm goods for some shellfish & gave us good hiking and local event info. Great stay!!

I stayed in the A-frame cabin in the woods and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I needed a retreat to get away by myself and reconnect with nature and this was well beyond what I expected. Weekend Trip to Peace on Earth

We had a wonderful time at Brian's cabin! It was clean and comfortable, and the toilet and hot shower were so appreciated! It is truly like being alone in the woods because it is so quiet. We loved playing Scrabble and listening to John Denver on the CD player. Our dog enjoyed the off leash walk up to the water tanks and back - Brian has a gorgeous property. It was a perfect weekend getaway and we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful farm with very kind hosts. We had a great time unplugging, connecting with the livestock, and enjoying the sunrise and sunset each day. The tent stayed warm so long as someone was up to tend to the wood stove. Would definitely recommend this getaway.

This cabin is peaceful. It had everything we needed for comfort. It is maintained with thoughtfulness. The cabin is clean and stocked with supplies making it easy to care for while there. The weather was very cold (26 to 38 degrees) as expected and we stayed toasty, The roads are well maintained and the mountain spectacular. We will come back when we can spend more time outside enjoying the grounds and exploring. This was a fabulous place to retreat and spend time with friends. Our dog was so happy, she is part husky and was in her element outside. She loved it. We all did.

I love this canvas yent site and definitely would recommend . The wood stove is perfect for year round camping! I love walking around the farm and it so close to the beach for a day trip.

The tree house we stayed in was dry and had everything we needed to make delicious meals. My favourite part of the trip was the hot tub that Mokey set up for my sis and I. Mokey was also responsive to our needs and overall a lovely host to have.

Cydnie and Kim were excellent hosts. They got me all set up with propane last minute and the A-frame was so cozy in the winter! I felt so safe and clean. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Weekend Trip to Peace on Earth

The cabin was peaceful and private, and we felt truly secluded and unplugged from the digital world. Our reasons for going or to get isolated from technology and the Internet and this cabin was the perfect place to do that. Brian was a warm welcoming host and their book of recommendations for nearby hikes and food were top-notch. Gnat Creek was a beautiful hike.

This is a great place to get away and unwind. The cabin is really nice and cozy with all the amenitiesyou need. There is no internet or cell service in the cabin which I truly appreciated. The hosts were great and very accommodating. I will definitely be back and would recommend checking this place out. 5 STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4 nights at Country Refuge Close to City

I had a lovely Christmas week at this location. The room was clean, private, and warm. Conveniently located for great hiking. The animals were very sweet and the hosts were incredibly friendly. They were very thoughtful and accommodating, and even offered advice and support when I started experiencing car trouble. I look forward to staying here again when I’m in the area.
