Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape! Just 90 minutes from either Portland or Seattle, this cozy glamping site is located on 220 secluded acres of private wilderness along the Chehalis River. Sleep in a cozy queen-size bed! There's propane heat, power, WIFI, and a lovely stone firepit. Come relax, hike, and explore! This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring. As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one). This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay. The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming. This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring. If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind. Most important of all, relax and enjoy your stay in this incredibly peaceful and secluded valley. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints!

There's power, WIFI, a wood burning stove, a real bathroom, an outdoor kitchen, and a picturesque hot water outdoor shower. Come relax, hike, and explore! The space Your living and sleeping space is a 16' x 20' canvas walled tent on a solid wooden floor which is carpeted. The tent is fully furnished with a king-size bed, two chairs by the wood-burning pellet stove, a tall dresser and clothes rack, a dry mini-kitchen with refrigerator, and a work desk with monitor and power. Outside the tent on the covered patio is a table with four chairs. There is also a covered outdoor kitchen with an exposed aggregate concrete floor, propane stove, and a hot/cold water sink. Behind the tent you'll find a private bathroom with flushable toilet and hot/cold running water basin sink. The stone pump house itself is locked, but on the back of it you'll find your private, hot water outdoor shower. Beyond that, you have 220 acres of forest, field, and river to explore! The property is expansive, quiet, and beautifully maintained—220 acres that actually feel untouched. The open fields at sunrise with mist rolling through are unreal, and the river access is perfect for a peaceful reset. What really stood out was how private and intentional everything felt. You’re not just “camping”—you’re stepping into a space that lets you slow down immediately. It’s also incredibly dog-friendly. Ours had the freedom to roam, explore, and just be dogs—something that’s hard to find in most places. And Marc, the owner, was outstanding—super responsive and answered every question within seconds, which made the entire experience seamless. If you’re looking for a true disconnect from noise and crowds, this is it. Not flashy, just done right.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! The host, Marc, was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our entire visit. Anytime we had a question or reached out, he was quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. The setup was absolutely perfect for our few days there. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and ready for us — firewood, cooking supplies, a refrigerator, and even a fantastic outdoor shower. We really appreciated all the extra touches like dish soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, plus clean towels provided for the shower. The bed was very comfortable, and when the nights got a little chilly we were well taken care of with plenty of blankets and two heaters. It made the tent feel cozy and relaxing. The only small disappointment was that the wood-burning stove inside the tent isn’t available until the fall season, so we weren’t able to use it during our stay. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, this was a fantastic glamping experience. Everything we needed was right there, the space was thoughtfully set up, and the host truly went above and beyond. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped camping getaway! The Riverbend Preserve was beautiful, very peaceful, serene and private. There were several hiking trails available, including ones with access/views of the Chehalis river.

Sweetwater Glamp Tent

Had the best glamping trip in Pe Ell with my family—total private preserve with our own swimming hole and no crowds, just us and nature. Our dog loved roaming off-leash the whole weekend. It was super relaxing and honestly an ideal escape from the Labor Day chaos. Huge bonus: Marc (the host) was really responsive, answering questions fast and making sure we felt welcome the whole time. Can’t wait to go back!

I loved the pure tranquility of this place. Really private BUT with all the amenities you would find within a house like fridge, fan, microwave, and more. There is a trail thats about 15 mins or from the tent that leads to a gem of river swimming area that was BEAUTIFUL. The shower and bathroom are right behind the outside of the tent and were nice too. Will def be back when I have the chance.

This was a wonderful place to stay and stargaze! You have the best of both worlds -camping and facilities. Dogs can be off leash as there’s a huge huge meadow for them to play in. No one else was around and it was beautiful. I would definitely go back

A True Gem

Walker Glamp Tent

Riverbend Preserve is absolutely magical. The meadow was such a peaceful, beautiful location to camp at. We got to witness the fog rolling in late evening and early morning, elk grazing, hawks hunting...it filled our hearts with joy to see wildlife just being wild and being able to just BE. There are paths to explore, a beautiful beach on the river, and we had everything we needed at the tent for a stress-free getaway. There's such diverse vegetation from one corner of the preserve to the other and we can't wait to return to see the changes as the preserve continues to flourish.
