Please note you have access to the yard and area where the tent is located. A white fence separates your area from Moby's Beachhouse, next door. Just 90 minutes from either Portland or Seattle, this cozy glamping site is located on 220 secluded acres of private wilderness along the Chehalis River. Sleep in a cozy queen-size bed! There's propane heat, power, WIFI, and a lovely stone firepit. Come relax, hike, and explore! This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring. As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one). This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay. The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming. This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring. If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind. Most important of all, relax and enjoy your stay in this incredibly peaceful and secluded valley. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints!

The set up was really cute! I loved how many different options there were depending on what type of adventure you want. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. It had a little bit of everything and was perfect for our stay. My only complaint would be that I wish the water in the shower was warmer. The place had good heaters though so that made up for it. Otherwise it was a great place and I can't wait to stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Pacific Dunes Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Pacific Dunes Resort! Our young twin boys absolutely loved the tiny house and the big sandbox at the center of the park, while our pup was welcomed with ease—truly a dog-friendly spot. The beach is just a short walk away and was absolutely lovely. We went in thinking it might be a little nicer, but considering it’s a campground with lots of sand, it turned out to be really great and just what we needed. The resort’s location also worked perfectly for us: close to Ocean Shores, and just a bit further to the beautiful Lake Quinault. Having the Green Lantern Pub and a grocery mart nearby made things extra convenient. All in all, it was the perfect weekend escape for our whole family. Highly recommend!

Had the best glamping trip in Pe Ell with my family—total private preserve with our own swimming hole and no crowds, just us and nature. Our dog loved roaming off-leash the whole weekend. It was super relaxing and honestly an ideal escape from the Labor Day chaos. Huge bonus: Marc (the host) was really responsive, answering questions fast and making sure we felt welcome the whole time. Can’t wait to go back!

I loved the pure tranquility of this place. Really private BUT with all the amenities you would find within a house like fridge, fan, microwave, and more. There is a trail thats about 15 mins or from the tent that leads to a gem of river swimming area that was BEAUTIFUL. The shower and bathroom are right behind the outside of the tent and were nice too. Will def be back when I have the chance.

We had such a wonderful stay at Tiffany’s glass house! The location was absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. Tiffany put so much thought into every detail, making sure all the amenities were in perfect condition and the space felt welcoming and well cared for. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-designed, and the outdoor shower was definitely our favorite feature. It made the whole experience feel even more special. We felt right at home and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.

This was a wonderful place to stay and stargaze! You have the best of both worlds -camping and facilities. Dogs can be off leash as there’s a huge huge meadow for them to play in. No one else was around and it was beautiful. I would definitely go back

One note I would like to add, this they need more employees working throughout the day! 1 lady to clean all the tents, hotels, restrooms, tiny houses, answer guest's questions and run the coffee shop was definitely not enough assistance!

My girlfriend and I had a great time camping at this yurt! Well kept, private, clean, and great amenities next door. The host did an excellent job furnishing the yurt -- it's incredibly cozy and warm (the wood fireplace is a nice bonus!). Short walk to the beach (5-10 mins). Not much to buy in walking distance (a pub and a gas station), so I recommend bringing supplies from elsewhere.

This was such a cute place with well thought out details. Getting to listen to rain on the glass roof was very relaxing. There’s a cute outdoor area with a fire pit, which would be great if you aren’t traveling during a burn ban. The heated outdoor shower was also very nice on chilly mornings. The place is very private. It’s in a gated neighborhood so it feels safe. The house also has its own little gate to feel more secure. There are trees all around so even though you are relatively close to neighbors, it doesn’t feel like it. There are also curtains all around the windows for added privacy. The beach is just a short walk away.

Riverbend Preserve is absolutely magical. The meadow was such a peaceful, beautiful location to camp at. We got to witness the fog rolling in late evening and early morning, elk grazing, hawks hunting...it filled our hearts with joy to see wildlife just being wild and being able to just BE. There are paths to explore, a beautiful beach on the river, and we had everything we needed at the tent for a stress-free getaway. There's such diverse vegetation from one corner of the preserve to the other and we can't wait to return to see the changes as the preserve continues to flourish.
