We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's. There’s a map of the 5 acres that leads you to hidden features, like the gypsy fortune-telling tea house, a fairy mound at the base of a huge fir tree, a yoga platform, and a Buddha bench for contemplating or conversation. Weekend Trip to Cloverdale Ranch Country Skies

I think the part that I love the most about this location. Is that aside from one or two cars far away I heard no traffic noise. The train startled me the first time it came through. I thought it was a very large tractor about to plow right through the bunkhouse, but then I realized it was the train and there’s just something so comforting about the sound of a train at least for me. Reminds me of some great old Timey tunes. The back porch had shade for most of the day and I just hunkered down back there with a cushion that I brought with me and I had some really wonderful prayer time in the evening. I made some food on the barbecue, which also has a burner on the side where I was able to boil water and make rice. then I use the same burner to boil water and make ginger tea, which was also really yummy. If you love rustic old buildings, and you don’t mind the sounds and presence of the occasional farm critter you will love the bunkhouse! I think for me personally, I will bring a tent next time just for the nighttime part of my stay because I like to go even more rustic and I know there are enough dogs around. I won’t be accosted by coyotes! But I absolutely love the space and would definitely use the bunkhouse as a place to rest or read, during the day. It’s got wonderful Crossbreeze on a warm day and all the doors can be open and all the windows have screens. On the back porch is just amazing, especially during the sunset!!

Weekend Trip to Glenrose Flower & Forage Farm

The space was perfect. It was quiet, romantic, and a beautiful view of the field/sunset. We had three dogs in that enjoyed it very much. We saw deer in the field in the evening and enjoyed a walk around the property. Only suggestion would be to be to possibly fence in the patio all the way so we could let the dogs out and not leashed the entire time but we still had a relaxing oasis.

I loved staying here. It is the perfect distance from town so it is 15 minutes away from the grocery store but it feels like you are miles away. We loved the hosts and there garden and land. We enjoyed the yurt and the deck area. We will definitely be staying here again.

3 nights at Chocolate Moose Marina and Chapel

Whimsical and cozy spot by the lake! Great outdoor kitchen set up. Very attentive and accommodating owners-Matt & Tamara went above and beyond. Loved the paddle boards and kayak available. Lawn area and fire pit are wonderful. The water isn’t swimable right off the campsite (too many reeds), that’s a bit of a bummer, but it’s easy to paddle out to where you can swim, and the lake as a whole really is beautiful, not a lot of boating traffic. Chapel sleeping arrangements are tiny by comfy. Both the cabin and chapel were spotless and bug free. The little driveway was pretty steep—people with limited mobility would definitely struggle—but it’s not too long of a path. Overall we loved it and would come back again!

The RV was so comfortable and cozy! Host was very welcoming and communicative and kind. Lots of open quiet space to wander around in. The chickens were so adorable and fun to see! Gym and shower provided! Very well thought out hipcamp and vey thoughtful host!

Weekend Trip to Little Spokane Riverside Retreat

The hostess is WONDERFUL! Very responsive and will bend over backwards to accommodate or help in any way she can. The bunkhouse is adorable and had everything I could possibly need. I know that if I had needed something more, the hostess would provide! The river is literally just down the drive and the setup along the river is perfect! Floating, water shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, shade, fire pit (with a chimney so it’s safe to use!). She even decorated for the 4th! We can’t wait to go back!!

Michael is a great host and the RV was everything we needed during our stay. Having AC, water, and a stove to cook on was nice being away from home. We felt like we had privacy while being close to everything Spokane had to offer.

3 nights at Little Spokane Riverside Retreat

This was our first stay with Hipcamp. It was so easy to book, check in, stay and check out. Easier than I expected. The bunkhouse was a great fit for our little family. We really enjoyed our time at the river, everyday!! We loved that our dog was able to come with us and we will definitely be coming back again!! Sara was super easy to stay with and shared some great local recommendations with us :) We fell in love with her dogs too!! The bunkhouse was really clean and the outside shit shack was too. Twas a great glamping experience ☀️😎❤️

Weekend Trip to Spokane River Lodge - Guest Suite

Such a cute and romantic getaway! It felt peaceful and private while still being close enough to the city to make it an easy escape for the weekend. The space was cozy, thoughtfully set up, and perfect for relaxing and unplugging. We loved the atmosphere and appreciated all the little details that made the stay special. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for couples or small family looking for nearby retreat!

Angie and crew exceeded expectations as our Hipcamp hosts! Everything was so lovely but their hospitality really added to our experience. The farm is wonderful and the tent/deck was a magical little space of our own. Really felt at home here! It’s a great place to relax and unwind for sure. Lots of thought and hard work has gone into this space. My daughter loved feeding the chickens. And, who doesn’t love farm fresh eggs! Breakfast was magnificent as well. Thank you so much for the fun stay!!

Weekend Trip to Spokane River Lodge - Guest Suite

Rocky was a super gracious and helpful host. The room was clean and comfortable and the amenities were amazing! Rocky even had s'mores stuff set out for the campfire. We really enjoyed the hot tub and hiking down by the river. Worth every penny!
