A sanctuary away from everyday life, where you can relax and reconnect with nature. Yurt has electricity, a wood stove for heat in winter, a beautiful outdoor kitchen and bathhouse, and a year round creek nearby. Only 45 minutes from Missoula Montana. Games and books in the yurt. Cedar outhouse. Lots of extras to make for a truly remarkable glamping experience. We offer breakfast and french press organic coffee for an additional fee. Mostly secluded, situated above our garden and raspberry patch, so we are on that side of the garden early on summer mornings.

Lochsa Lodge is a four-season lodge in the heart of wild Idaho! We have 19 different cabins to choose from, some rustic with no plumbing and some fully furnished with private bathroom. The main lodge has a restaurant & tavern serving breakfast, lunch, & dinner daily. Open 365 days a year. Something happens when you get way, way off the beaten path. Time gets a little slower. Your to-do lists go out the window. Out here, it’s just you and the Great Wild West, and this place is every bit as epic as the stories say. The stars are brighter, the rivers are wilder, the air is clearer, the snow is deeper. Heck, even the mountains seem higher. Before you know it, you’ll remember what it’s like to just be you, a little piece of this big earth. You’ll get back to your true nature in no time.

Wildlight Yurt

Our land is 24 acres set against Cinderella Mountain, facing the Clark Fork River. There are two houses and a yurt on the property. The yurt is available for rent on this site to stay the night in, 8 guests maximum. **For gatherings and up to 20-person events, please visit our website, wildlightmontana.com. Address: The maps program on HipCamp is outdated and our address, which was created during the Covid lockdown, does not show up here. If you use Google Maps you can search "Wildlight Montana" to find us or please direct message me for the address. The yurt is a beautiful open space utilized weekly for local yoga classes and private events. The space is therefore not set up with bedding; guests should bring their own camping pads, cots, sleeping bags, etc. A pro to staying here is that the space comes stocked with yoga props for stretching in the evening while you arrive, sitting and gathering, or maybe doing a private yoga class before you leave in the morning. Feel free to message us and book a private sound therapy, Reiki or yoga session while you are at the property! There is nice view of the valley surrounding, and a trail leading up into the woods behind the yurt to walk on. Wild turkeys, deer, elk and eagles right outside your door. There is a woodstove inside for cooler nights that we can instruct folks who feel comfortable to use, and a small firepit out front. Facilities: Outside, in front of the yurt, there is a back-to-back outhouse and hand washing station available for guests, stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap. An insulated out-building sits just to the west of the yurt entrance, right where the dirt driveway turns toward the yurt itself when you drive up. The out-building is equipped as a kitchenette, and includes a refrigerator, electric kettle and coffee maker. Please note: there is no running water inside this building, however we will have a 5 gallon jug of well water set up in a water dispenser for you to access there. We ask guests to clean up after themselves in these spaces. The handwashing area is set up for rinsing off dishes while you're here as well. We will make sure to provide a dish tub, cleaning supplies, enough dishes, utensils and mugs for up to 8 people (or compostable picnicware if necessary at the time of rental). Note about the train: There are train tracks that run along the river in front of our property. The tracks are dropped down low enough that you can just see the top of the train, with trees also blocking the sound. The train will only sound its horn here if there are animals on the tracks, a fairly rare occurrence after four years living here. All in all, it isn't bothersome feature to most who stay, and we've had positive feedback from renters. It still feels fair to note.

Rewild Ranch

4. Rewild Ranch

ReWild is a regenerative farm and glamping retreat just outside Missoula, Montana—equal parts wild beauty and thoughtful comfort. We offer beautifully appointed glamping tipis in a quiet, private area of the property, with wide-open views of the surrounding mountains and the Clark Fork River below. Elsewhere on the land, regenerative farming practices are actively underway. You may see goats doing weed control and wildlife moving through the landscape, but guest spaces are separate and designed for peace and privacy. Each tipi is its own private space, complete with a personal fire pit (local fire regulations permitting) and lounge chairs for slow mornings and long evenings. Inside, expect cozy, high-end comfort: super-comfortable mattresses, 800-thread-count organic cotton bedding, and a calm, quiet atmosphere designed for real rest. Every tipi is assigned its own private bathroom in our luxurious bathhouse. It features cedar benches, copper fixtures, custom tile, and a mini fridge for food and beverages—designed to feel more like a boutique retreat than a shared facility. A shared outdoor kitchen keeps camp life simple. Grill your food, wash up, make coffee, and spend less time managing logistics and more time outside. You’ll likely meet Dexter, our Great Pyrenees and beloved local celebrity. He lives and works in the pasture and may come say hello when you arrive, but he is not a free-roaming dog and does not interfere with guest spaces. We love dogs (truly), but because ReWild is a working regenerative farm with livestock and abundant wildlife, we’re not able to host guest dogs. This helps keep the animals, the land, and your stay calm and safe. For guests looking to make their stay a little more special, limited add-on experiences may be available by request, depending on season and availability. Our common area offers a little playful energy when you want it—cornhole (with lights), life-sized Connect Four and Jenga, and Spikeball—all optional, all low-key. ReWild is for people who want nature without roughing it, beauty without pretense, and a place that feels grounding, fun, and a little bit magical. Missoula is a short drive away if you want restaurants or live music, but most guests are happy staying put. Come unplug. Come rest. Come ReWild.

We live on 48 acres out in the country, but we are only 12–15 minutes from the town of Orofino. We have five beautiful sleeper cabins (with TVs and mini splits), and a bathroom/shower house located 10–20 feet from the cabins. There is also a game area with horseshoes and an archery lane, as well as a timber-framed gazebo for gathering and relaxing. The cabins sit on approximately 4–5 acres of the property. We use these cabins for about nine months out of the year, so they are only available during the summer months of June, July, and August. So welcome to your stay—we’re glad you’re here. Each cabin offers a comfortable space to rest, while the shared outdoor areas give you room to gather, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. This is a place where the sunrises and sunsets are incredible, the air feels different, and the pace naturally slows down. It’s common to see wildlife throughout the property—deer, elk, and wild turkeys often pass through, especially in the early morning and evening. Keep an eye out and take it all in—it’s part of what makes this place special. Whether you’re here to explore, fish, unwind, or spend time with your group, we hope you enjoy the space, the land, and the experience. We currently have limited photos of the cabins due to weather conditions, but more will be updated in May. All five cabins have unique names and are themed after animals: • Elk Meadows • Bear Den • Turkey Flats • Cougar Basin • Deer Ridge Bathrooms → The Fishing Hole
