Our land is 24 acres set against Cinderella Mountain, facing the Clark Fork River. There are two houses and a yurt on the property. The yurt is available for rent on this site to stay the night in, 8 guests maximum. **For gatherings and up to 20-person events, please visit our website, wildlightmontana.com.

The yurt is a beautiful open space utilized weekly for local yoga classes and private events. The space is therefore not set up with bedding; guests should bring their own camping pads, cots, sleeping bags, etc. A pro to staying here is that the space comes stocked with yoga props for stretching in the evening while you arrive, sitting and gathering, or maybe doing a private yoga class before you leave in the morning. Feel free to message us and book a private sound therapy, Reiki or yoga session while you are at the property! There is nice view of the valley surrounding, and a trail leading up into the woods behind the yurt to walk on. Wild turkeys, deer, elk and eagles right outside your door. There is a woodstove inside for cooler nights that we can instruct folks who feel comfortable to use, and a small firepit out front.
Facilities: Outside, in front of the yurt, there is a back-to-back outhouse and hand washing station available for guests, stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap. An insulated out-building sits just to the west of the yurt entrance, right where the dirt driveway turns toward the yurt itself when you drive up. The out-building is equipped as a kitchenette, and includes a refrigerator, electric kettle and coffee maker. Please note: there is no running water inside this building, however we will have a 5 gallon jug of well water set up in a water dispenser for you to access there. We ask guests to clean up after themselves in these spaces. The handwashing area is set up for rinsing off dishes while you're here as well. We will make sure to provide a dish tub, cleaning supplies, enough dishes, utensils and mugs for up to 8 people (or compostable picnicware if necessary at the time of rental).
Note about the train: There are train tracks that run along the river in front of our property. The tracks are dropped down low enough that you can just see the top of the train, with trees also blocking the sound. The train will only sound its horn here if there are animals on the tracks, a fairly rare occurrence after four years living here. All in all, it isn't bothersome feature to most who stay, and we've had positive feedback from renters. It still feels fair to note.

A shared outdoor kitchen keeps camp life simple. Grill your food, wash up, make coffee, and spend less time managing logistics and more time outside.
You’ll likely meet Dexter, our Great Pyrenees and beloved local celebrity. He lives and works in the pasture and may come say hello when you arrive, but he is not a free-roaming dog and does not interfere with guest spaces.
We love dogs (truly), but because ReWild is a working regenerative farm with livestock and abundant wildlife, we’re not able to host guest dogs. This helps keep the animals, the land, and your stay calm and safe.
For guests looking to make their stay a little more special, limited add-on experiences may be available by request, depending on season and availability.
Our common area offers a little playful energy when you want it—cornhole (with lights), life-sized Connect Four and Jenga, and Spikeball—all optional, all low-key.

We live on 48 acres out in the country, but we are only 12–15 minutes from the town of Orofino. We have five beautiful sleeper cabins (with TVs and mini splits), and a bathroom/shower house located 10–20 feet from the cabins. There is also a game area with horseshoes and an archery lane, as well as a timber-framed gazebo for gathering and relaxing.
The cabins sit on approximately 4–5 acres of the property.
We use these cabins for about nine months out of the year, so they are only available during the summer months of June, July, and August.

Each cabin offers a comfortable space to rest, while the shared outdoor areas give you room to gather, relax, and enjoy the surroundings.
This is a place where the sunrises and sunsets are incredible, the air feels different, and the pace naturally slows down.
It’s common to see wildlife throughout the property—deer, elk, and wild turkeys often pass through, especially in the early morning and evening. Keep an eye out and take it all in—it’s part of what makes this place special.

We loved our time at Sanctuary Farm. The farm itself is on a private road, off a minor country road in a heavily treed area - The drive there is spectacular. You know you are in for something special! The yurt was placed well away from the owner's home, which gave lots of privacy and the night sky is DARK, so perfect for stargazing. The composting sawdust outhouse was a short walk from the yurt & surprisingly pleasant - no odor or flies and plenty of ventilation. 1000 times nicer than a port-o-potty. The solar heated camp shower provided by the host worked great. Just be sure to shower in the evening after the water has had all day to heat up! The optional breakfast was delish - definitely worth the cost & we ate out for our other meals, so never used the outdoor kitchen. We enjoyed our time here & would definitely recommend it to others seeking a stay off-the-beaten path.

This was such a cozy slice of heaven out in the Montana back country. We got up at 3 am and saw the Milky Way and so many stars. The outdoor kitchen made meals scenic and beautiful. Would stay here again 10/10.

Jessica's yurt is located on a magical piece of MT's land! She was lovely and friendly and easy to communicate with. The yurt was beautiful and serene. What a fun way to spend two nights!...in one large yoga retreat yurt! We brought our own bedding and just set ourselves up. At one point, we asked if she had chairs we could use so that we could sit outside, and she promptly loaned us some camp chairs. She went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and had what we needed. The amenities are very basic, which was fine with us. We planned well, understood what would and wouldn't be available to us, and it worked out just fine. The area of Alberton is gorgeous. If you like to swim, ask Jess for her secret swim spot...it was AMAZING! Thank you!

A little taste of Heaven! Sanctuary Farm was a peaceful retreat. The yurt was rejuvenating and comfortable. Everything was a perfect balance of both comfort and function. There was electricity and minimal wifi, which was wonderful to be unplugged for a short while. Matt met us upon arrival and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and he gave us privacy and was respectful. Water was provided upon arrival which was much needed. We loved seeing their kittens, goats, sheep, and cattle dog Huckleberry. I definitely recommend the breakfast, the sourdough waffle sandwich was delicious and he was so kind to accommodate my vegetarian preference. I wish we could have stayed longer. I enjoyed reading the guestbook of all who have graced the sanctuary. It was the perfect start to our trip. A creek ran right through the property, which was wonderful to listen to from our home-away-from-home. It would be a pleasure to visit again; I highly recommend staying here if you’re anywhere near the area. It’s worth the drive, and has a saloon not too far up the road. Five stars and hope to be back soon. So peaceful and comfortable. Thank you, Matt and Liz!

Matt and Liz were extremely generous, kind, and welcoming! The area is beautiful and secluded with all camping and cooking amenities provided for, should you need them. The yurt was cozy and the outdoor kitchen was a blast to use! The farm animals (goats, sheep, chickens, hares, just to name a few) were adorable. Overall just a fantastic place to go to, if you need to get out of the city and relax!

This is a great spot. Only problem this is 4 hours north of Boise about an hour east of lowman 2hours west of Montana on us 12. In the mountains you know not In the high dessert of south idaho. But close to here is duck valley which is an Indian reservation. And Mountain View camp site is. Good spot on a lake. Check it out.

The hikes are great but long. You can take a shortcut which is awesome and fast but super steep and more advanced hiking!

A rather unique USFS campground, and not just because some (not all) sites have electricity. Many are HUGE. Some have as many as three tables, and even benches around a quite large firepit. Thus it's popular for family events and such.
Additionally, the sites are very private. Although within earshot of the highway, traffic is almost non existent after dark. Tons of historical trails and dirt roads nearby, and the Lochsa River and Lodge within a short walk.

A great campground, well maintained and very accessible. The best thing about Giant White Pine (in my opinion) is access to a network of well-built and maintained mountain bike trails that start at the campground. You could easily spend a weekend here riding trails during the day, and camping at night.
While trees screen the view of the nearby highway 6 visually, some sites are only about 20' from the highway, and even those furthest away are probably less than 200'. It's a beautiful area, but not as remote as many other sites in the panhandle.
