We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs. We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. We are located right outside of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Our area is home to many amazing restaurants, several breweries and cute downtown shops.

Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added. Camp Fannie is a 1970 Fan Style Liner in almost original condition, she sits on a little over 2 acres with the Susquehanna river in front train tracks out back with a occasional train passing by and on the far side another camp and Kettle Creek where it meets the river. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing and atv trails all close by. Cherry springs for star gazing, have seen elk crossing the river about a mile up stream. Hyner State Park has a lookout approximately 14miles away and hang gliders in the fall with many other State parks close by. There is a restaurant across the road from Fannie with great food. This is a very quiet spot with wild animals and the sounds at night are amazing.

The cabins, cottage, tent sites & trails are very private and secluded. Each site has its own private entrance. There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt.
It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. The spot is complete tranquility. In a span of 3 days, I only had one passerby on an ATV, otherwise it is basically in the woods, and the nature is impressive all around you. There is no power and barely any cel coverage (almost none really) so be ready for that, but there was plenty of wood for the woodstove, and I was offered to stay an extra 12+ hours if I needed, which added to the "no stress" time I had. The hosts are quick to respond and let me be otherwise. I would stay again.

My husband, 2 year old, and I stayed at River's Edge for one night and it was idyllic! We rented a canoe, brought it with us, and enjoyed peace down the shallow, quiet river. There was a small ice cream shop/restaurant across the street to walk to. Tracy & Rob were responsive and available for anything we needed, and the tent was clean, no bugs, and warm/cozy.

I stayed two nights with my son and our dog. We had a very nice time. We bought plenty of supplies, but if we forgot something, place was very well stocked even with extra fishing poles. I enjoyed fishing in the little pond. caught about 20 Blue Gills and a few frogs. We ran the generator during the day and enjoyed the peace and quiet at night. There is no WiFi so download some games or movies on your phone, bring a book or whatever you choose to pass the time. We bought meat in a cooler and grilled on the fire pit. There is a Walmart not too far if you need somethings. The only down side which is no fault of the host is the ride up to the lodge from the main road which is rocky, with some dips. My car is low to the ground so I had to ride on it very carefully.

Tracy and Rob’s glampground was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend. First and foremost they are very communicative and had great recommendations for things to do in the area.
