Brad and Ciana welcome you to the Santa Fe Treehouse Camp & Wilderness Preserve, managed by The Wilderness Institute. The camp was founded 40 years ago as a summer camp for kids. We continue to offer camps for children and their parents and grandparents (family camps), as well as welcome adults and other groups to enjoy the vast and wild high desert nature up on this ridge. "BE A CAMPER CONSERVATIONIST"! Register for our nature education activities and resources lead by The Wilderness Institute (available for all of our guests). These topics include sustainability, recycling, composting, water conservation, wildfire prevention, outdoor safety, and nature awareness along with the use of our hiking trails. You can also join an archery class, tomahawk throwing, climbing on the mobile climbing wall, Yoga, Tai Chi, Climbing Into The Heart of the Mother Tree, Star talks and more! (https://wildernessinstitute.org/outdoor-programs/) There are beautiful views and access to Shaggy Peak, the southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Wander our land to enjoy various level hiking trails including a 20 minute hike to a creek and waterfall in the forest (some steep spots and creek is intermittent) or climb up Shaggy Peak (seasoned hikers only please). IMPORTANT: We are up 1.3 miles of dirt road (with 5-7+% grade in a few short stretches) and are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle! Be aware that the roads can be snowy, icy or muddy and rutted ( 4-wheel or All-trak recommended in certain times of year). We don’t guarantee the road will be plowed. We generally close for the season due to cold weather around Halloween and reopen just before Memorial Day. This is a non-smoking, no candle facility.

Two Hawk Ranch is comprised of 12 acres of high mountain valley meadows, hay fields, Acequias, trees and the Rio Chiquito. Yes, we are located at approximately 7,800ft elevation. My husband and I stumbled across this beautiful and serene property by accident in 2020 just as Covid hit. We feel blessed to be here and feel the need to share it’s calming, restful qualities. We have three adult children and have three grandchildren. We also have eight international children as we hosted international students for four years. You are welcome to come sit by the fire and be social or just do your own thing. Learn more about this land: Sites located across the property for up to 8 groups. The RV camping is located near one of our horse corrals and above our irrigation Acequia, above or next to the house, or in the field down by the arena after haying is complete (usually after the first week of July as long as the rain cooperates). Can back in or pull through and has 110v power nearby. No water to hook up to, but we can fill your tanks via hose by the house or arena. Other sites available if you don’t need power, or have a generator. Property is within a 100yds of national forest service that gives access to off-roading, hiking, biking, horse riding, fishing, and winter snowshoeing, cross country skiing, etc. We are located just off the High Road to Taos in Llano, 29 miles south of Taos and 55 miles north of Santa Fe. We are eight miles from Ski Sipapu and eight miles from Rio Santa Barbara Canyon. Your well-behaved pets are welcome. We also have one great dane (Raggy), a great dane mix (The Morrigan), one ranch cat (Sasha) and four horses (Gentry, Shadow, Mattie & Jr G). The dogs are a rescue of some kind. The Morrigan is black, 3.5 yrs old and comes out of a rescue in AZ. She went in with her litter as a 5 month old puppy, and she came here about a year later. She is reticent and suspicious, so ignore her and she will come up to you on her own; continue to ignore her. Ragnar (Raggy) is our most recent rescue and is from Las Cruces. He's 3 yrs old and a merle. He suffers from anxiety and fears children. We are working him through his fears, and he is doing really well. The weather here tends to run cooler, as we are located in the mountains in a small valley at approximately 7,800 ft above sea level. In the spring through fall, temps will average from mid 40°F up to mid 60°F at night and mid 60°F up to mid 90°F during the day. Temps can get into the 100°F's in the summer, but that is rare. Generally if the sun is out, it is warm or hot even tho the actual temps are not. It's a high-altitude affect. The opposite is true as well. Cloud cover will feel cooler. We also experience monsoon style rains that occur in the afternoon generally starting in July and running into August or later. In the late fall through early spring during winter, the average temps usually run from 0°F up to mid 20°F at night with occasional dips into negative temps and in the day generally run from mid 20°F up to the mid 40°F range. Same as above - if the sun is out, it will feel warmer, etc. We do hay the fields, so we may have tractor activity going on in the late spring and early summer. In the winter we will be clearing snow from the roads and feeding hay. Can't wait to see everyone this year!

The Enchanted Circle Campground sits on the Avalon Ranch. It is 161 owned acres surrounded by a state trust lease. We are very proud to have been voted #1 Campground in NM 4 years in a row and ranked Top 5 by Forbes in the country. We have 8 Sites to choose from. (No large RVs at 4, 7 or 8) Campfires are permitted, and pets are welcome. Free potable water is available as well as a portable toilet. For cooking, you will have a fire pit, with a cast iron grill. Every site (but 7) has a standing charcoal grill, with tongs, a spatula and a grill brush. A fire extinguisher and a shovel. We hang a hand washing jug at every site for your convenience, with potable water, but do not suggest this for drinking water source. The property was originally homesteaded in 1893. It was also the first potato farm in NM. It has seven ground-fed springs that run year-round and is officially the Coyote Creeks Headwaters. The springs converge after filling 4 of our ponds in the marshland where the potatoes were grown. A family of 4 lived in the first dwelling built here, not much larger than a shed. Since that time, 2 homes, 1 of which still stands, a barn, a smokehouse, and 4 other outbuildings were constructed. There are old wagons and farm equipment from the late 1800s and early 1900's still strewn about the ranch. We are home to Huge herds of Elk, mule deer, turkeys, prairie dogs, eagles, black bears, 9 horses, chickens, pigs, goats, our 2 dogs and 4 cats, and the occasional Mountain Lion. We live here year-round. We love our land and want to share it with others. I am a Veteran and our intent is to eventually have a Veterans Retreat facility here. Not a retreat itself, but rather a location for all of the retreats, nationwide, to be able to utilize, so they can use the funds they have to do what they do best. You are helping to make that possible. We do pride ourselves on minimally impacting our land. We strive to keep it clean and as close to nature as we can. And as always, Veterans, LEOs, and Fire Fighters are always free for one night up to 4 guests. Just book your reservation, and show us your ID during your stay, and we will reimburse you for your last night with us.

Lush high desert river oasis on three acres, nestled in a fertile valley in Carson National Forest, right between the fiery expanse of Taos and the rolling colorful formations of Abiquiu. Peaceful, private and serene land right by the river at the edge of a little quaint town called La Madera (145 people)- just 6 miles to the healing mineral Hot Springs of Ojo Caliente, a place of emergence or rebirth as known to the local Natives. At the moment we have three options 1) Cosy & nestled Vintage Camper that can be heated, with kitchen, electricity and plenty of outdoor furniture with a fire pit and serene mountain views. 2) As well as a Gazebo Tree shaded campsite for tents only, with fire pit, outdoor seating and the tranquil sounds of the gently flowing river in the background. 3) If you would like to bring your own camper/or tent we have a willow brush enclosed meadow with stunning views. Some campsites have access to a guest bathroom inside the main house, others have private outhouses. *** Right by the river, held by a BLM ridge (makes for amazing sunset hikes), we have a tent campsite for several people that will be available once our bridge is finished- est. end of April '26. As well as a Gypsy Wagon with electric, water and kitchen. My partner (senior therapist at Ojo Hot Springs) offers private massages that you'll find in the Extras. As of April '26 we have been adopted by two sweet dogs- mom and her pup. For now, until we find homes for them, we cannot accept your pets. So sorry. +++ 6 miles to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs. There you will find the best restaurant in the area, with locally/organically farmed produce. The land is naturally and beautifully wild with lots of bird sounds. It is not a manicured campsite. The dirt rd down to the property is best suited for higher clearance vehicles, but is manageable for city cars. With land by the river comes the mosquitos- June to August only. They are predominantly active during sunrise and sunset; long loose fitting clothes and a repellent work great. Waterhole, Waterfall and climbing sites near by, as well as Plaza Blanca, Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch and the Taos Gorge are 30 mins drive away. *No cell service in the greater area. Wifi available around the house for calling and texting.

So come sleep under the stars, relax in the shade of the pinon trees, play in the grassy, wildflower fields, or cozy up to one of the fire pits on the property. Camp sites have access to water and the covered RV space has electricity and water hookups. Love riding as much as we do? Clean off that New Mexico clay at our bike washing station! We are dog friendly and already love your furry companions, but please keep them leashed. We can provide long cables so your pup can still play outside with you! The two acre property also includes our home, covered RV site, pear tree (help yourself to fresh fruit!), many shady areas to relax, large field to play, fire pits, and access to trails within walking distance! After a few years of living on the road, we know how hard it can be to find a clean, safe place to stay and how magical it feels when you find just the right spot. Helps to have a spotter for bigger vehicles. Many vans and cars have had no issues, one has gotten a little stuck when it was muddy. • Amenities:   • Potable water available via hydrant near house (~100 ft from site)   • No hookups (electricity, on-site water, or sewer)   • No toilets   • You must be self-contained with your own supplies Vibe: Extremely private and tree-surrounded — host’s home is just up the hill and barely visible depending on orientation Ideal For • Adventurers who prefer quieter, off-grid stays • Campervans, trucks and campers with mild ground clearance • Tent camping under the canopy of piñon and juniper • Travelers wanting a base close to Santa Fe but still in a more natural, secluded setting

Welcome to our sweet slice of life conveniently located just a few miles from everything you would want to explore! - Famous Glorieta mountain biking trails - Hiking trails - High-quality fishing and adventures at the Pecos River - Pecos Canyon State Park and Pecos National Historic Park - Close to multiple ski resorts - Historic Downtown Santa Fe, just 17 miles away! If you want to have easy access to the city, but still enjoy nature, this is the perfect spot for you. We find the campers who enjoy this site the most are just stopping by for a safe and quiet place to sleep while passing through or they love exploring throughout the day and come back to the site to relax and rest up before their next adventure. Now that we are stationary, we want to share our home with you and give others a chance to enjoy nature and all of the beautiful adventures surrounding us! We live full-time in the house and do have neighbors on our street (dirt road), please let us know if we can do anything to make your stay more comfortable!

A gated private property on a quiet 10 acres at the literal end of the road, backing up to Pecos National Park. Nestled in the Pecos National Forest, Rincon Del Cielo is the perfect getaway for active (or passive) individuals, couples, and families. It’s a serene, relaxing environment that also offers plenty of activities both on and off the property. The campsite includes a four-burner grill with side burner, gas fire pit, electricity, trash can, picnic table, gated/fenced dog run/tent site, portable toilet w/hand washing sink and non-potable water. Rincon Del Cielo’s property boasts meandering walking paths, including Hummingbird Lane, which features 18+ feeders to attract these little bundles of energy (seasonal). There’s plenty of birdwatching to make even the most experienced ornithologists envious. For kids, there are slackline swings and swing bars, plus badminton and volleyball nets for families (seasonal). Nearby, you’ll find world-class river fishing, hiking, zip lines, mountain biking, national parks, and other points of interest. There’s plenty to do—or not do—and plenty to see while visiting our corner of the sky.

Piñon Pine and Prickly Pear -Secluded hillside retreat just minutes from downtown Santa Fe 🌲 -Escape into nature without giving up convenience, hidden gem just off Hwy 599 and only 7–10 minutes from Santa Fe’s historic Plaza. -Surrounded by piñon and juniper trees this private, lightly rustic site offers sweeping views and peaceful surroundings. -Depending on the season you might see jack rabbits, woodpeckers, owls, coyotes, hawks, lizards, and more What to Expect: • Type of site: Mulched hillside for RVs, vans, or tents • Sleeps: Up to 5 guests • Vehicle size: Best suited for rigs under 24 ft and that have a bit of clearance (backup parking may allow slightly larger) • Terrain / access: Please be aware this site is more challenging than typical campgrounds 4×4 isn’t required but is recommended, approach angles are a bit steep, turns are a bit tight, and it can be a bit muddy with heavy rain.
