We have five campsites in 235 acres of acres of forest and ranch land in our working cattle and sheep ranch. Located in a serene valley in the Ozark Highlands, the Ranch has Sheep, Scottish Highland Cattle, Chickens, Ducks and Great Pyrenees livestock guard dogs (only in the sheep pastures - and they are friendly). This is a unique site located in the Ozark Highlands. Only 45 minutes from Cape Girardeau (a small river town on the Mississippi), and 45 minutes from the Arcadia Valley including Taum Sauk mountain (the highest point in Missouri), Elephant Rocks, the Johnston Shutins, and other beautiful areas in the highlands.
The farm is five minutes from Marble Hill, which is home to the Bollinger County Natural History museum which highlights the only dinosaur bones found in Missouri. The bones were found at a farm in Glennallen (a few minutes from our farm) as well as a great barbeque (Jay’s Restaurant) and a good catfish restaurant (Jers Restaurant). On the way to our farm, feel free to stop at the 1,700 foot deep artesian well to get a cool, refreshing jug of natural artesian well water – the water is free, but you have to bring your own containers!

Located at the confluence of the Meramec River and Labarque Creek, my place (Matt's Place) is a ridge above a bottomland bowl of sorts.
The old iron truss bridge here is likely built in 1910 and it has a survey marker from 1932.
The creek has a nice little swimming hole, and a beach that is sometimes sand, sometimes, gravel, and sometimes a mix of both with some silt or even mud after a storm. It's peaceful down there to explore in the creek, wade while looking outward to an opening into the Meramec River. It's also fun to stand just at the mouth of the creek in the Meramec River. It's an awesome view upstream or downstream of tree lined banks, rock bluffs, and every now and then, passing boats, canoes, paddle boards, or kayaks. The old iron truss bridge hovers above the meeting of two waters. The water is cool and clean. Some fifty species of fish have been recorded in this creek, the most in all of Jefferson County and St Louis County. The bottomland has two levels, the lower bottoms down by the creek and the upper bottoms about a hundred feet from the creek. The upper bottoms has a clearing like a meadow with mowed grass.
My favorite things to do here include gazing up at a cottonwood tree that must be sixty feet tall. It's leaves in a breeze are like a thousand hands waving hello. The bottomland meadow offers just enough sky to see bats dance in the dusk air between the trees, then fireflies as it gets darker yet. Up top is where I live.
Just five miles off HWY 44 and HWY 109, at Eureka, MO, (30 minutes west of downtown St Louis, 18 minutes from Six Flags) this place sits on a ridge with great views above the Meramec River.

Lake Perry Campground was established in July, 2024. We are located just outside the main gates of Lake Perry. Lake Perry is a private, gated, lake community that is only accessible by lot owners and their guests. Lake Perry Campground offers 17 full hookup sites consisting of public water, 70 amp electric, and public sewer. 9 sites are pull through lots that are 25' wide x 35' long, and 8 back-in lots ranging from 25-60' wide and 30-100' long. Two buddy lots (camper & tent) are available as well. We also have 1 tent lot with 20 amp electric and water.
Completed in August 2025, is a 30' x 50' pavilion with restrooms (2 toilets) and (1) floor to ceiling tile shower in each restroom. A tankless hot water heater was installed for endless hot water. A seasonal bar & grill operates on the weekends and sometimes more serving canned beer, mixed drinks, premium wines, and adult slushy drinks such as the nearly famous Perrywacker. There is Starlink wifi and an ice vending machine on-site 24/7. Also available late winter/early spring 2026 is a 400 square foot studio cabin featuring a 12x16 deck, bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and a kitchenette/bar. (Sleeps 4)
We are 5 miles from Mark Twain national Forest, as well as multiple conservation areas with creek access. Several wineries are nearby through scenic backroads. (Charleville, Twin Oaks, Sand Creek). Situated a little over 4 miles off of Missouri Hwy 185 in the forest are 4 back-in Rv sites all with 50/30/20 Amp electric configured in a circle around a community camp fire. Nearby to State Parks and a bit of a drive to Mark Twain National Forest. This is a self service site.
Bring your own water and an empty lavatory tank. Twin Eagle Lake Campground is located 14 miles away on Hwy 185 and provides a water faucet and dump station for longer stays at an additional expense.
The property has a 4 foot chicken wire fence around it with barb wire on the top and a double gate at the entrance.
All 4 sites can be rented together for group camping or special events if available.
The gravel road can be rough and should keep your significant other away. Drive slowly in a 4x4 or Rear wheel drive vehicle and you should have no problems. The road leading to this property is not meant for front wheel drive vehicles.
The gate has a combo lock on it. You will get the combo after booking your site. This piece of land just finished construction so it may be Summer of 2025 before I can get the grass to grow.
The gate can be left open while a campsite is occupied if all campers agree, but please close the gate and lock it if all sites are empty when you check out.
This is the wilderness, there are bugs, mosquitos, ticks, flys, bees, and things that bite and sting. Please prepare accordingly. By staying on my property, you are waiving any liability for me or any owner of the land.

Name says it all I have a few acres bordering a creek. I keep the field maintained I have a few acres up the hill with some trails you could hike, fairly rough and steep. I do have electric hookups located at the entrance of the field extension cords would be recommended if you want to be further in the field.

I was headed home from travel in the upper north east back to Texas when I had the opportunity to stay Ryan’s land for one night. I will definitely return if traveling through there again! Although technically close to his home, the site is located behind a silo/garden area and feels very private. Ryan provided firewood and ice water free of charge. I enjoyed my last campfire of an extended trip overlooking his farmland.
Free range chickens and cows just over the fence were fun neighbors for the night. In the morning, Ryan also gave me a half dozen eggs free of charge, which I used for breakfast the next couple mornings. Yum!
I was thankful there were ZERO biting insects. Tiny yellow flies were everywhere but did not bite. So all good 😂
Yep. Definitely will stay again if in the area and need a stopover spot.

This site is unique in that it is a farm with more than 400 acres. The campground has nice hot showers and a community kitchen. If you loke rocks, Jeremy can show you where to collect quartz, agate and other minerals. Great stay.

It was relaxing and peaceful. I camped in my 20 foot camper. Showers and volt toilets clean. The only complaint is a full portable holding tank sitting between my site and the next. And no one was on the site🤷♀️

I camped with an RV. The property was nice and quiet. I really enjoyed sitting outside in the woods. There is a beautiful creek on the property you can walk to. When we went, we had the entire creek area to ourselves. If you are a rock hound, there are plenty of rocks to be found on the beach area.

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY. Very familiar friendly. Bathrooms very well kept and secure. RV sites could use some improvements but we still loved our time there and hope to get back sooner rather than later! Great place!

Spring Lake Ranch is a great low key spot for camping! We love the lake with docks and a small sand area. We enjoy swimming and fishing. The creek at the entry of the campground is a fun place to stop and let the kiddos play.
The camper section is right next to the horses - we love to walk over and see them!
There is also a great winery right up the road that is kid friendly. We packed up the kids and snacks and enjoyed an afternoon there!
The spots could use some maintenance. The weeds were tall. Our campsite didnt have a picnic table, which was a bummer, but we were with friends so we just sat at their site most of the time.
Overall, we love this campground and will continue to return!

We took our Tab 320 to Patt’s Place for 3 nights. Loved it. Owners are great at communication and we actually were switched to back-in site #5. #5 is very similar to #3. Gravel, full hookup, fire pit and picnic bench. Would book again for sure.

Torrential downpour the whole day of our arrival and the host was gracious enough to meet us down the street and show us the back way to the property. Nice field and nice dogs!

It was a great experience camping at a farm. First time doing that for me. It was a great experience. They have a nice community kitchen where I could chat with other campers. That kitchen had some decaf coffee. I didn't bring any and I thought that was a nice touch. There's a nice pond and a bench for sitting and drinking coffee in the morning, too.

This was my first time camping on a farm. It was awesome! I wish I could've stayed one more day. I was there for three. There are a great variety of campsites, clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed meeting other campers at a communal outdoor kitchen. I spent my mornings at the pond where my dog had the best day of her life.

We loved the peaceful, serene setting, complete with farm animals, a creek and plenty of drusy quartz and crazy lace agate for the rock enthusiasts. Planning already for trip three in 2027💕
