Guests may stay in RV, van, or tent sites tucked into our wooded ridge property. The land is still a work in progress as we continue building and improving the homestead, so visitors should expect a rustic, honest setup rather than a fully developed campground.
We do offer electric and water hookups, along with a shower tent (solar water bag and shower tent) and porta-potty facilities for guest use.
The property is surrounded by woods, wildlife, and the natural sounds of the Ozarks. Evenings bring starry skies, country nights, and the peaceful rhythm of rural life.
We also operate a small cottage bakery on the property called Two Roots Rising, and we try to keep our farm stand filled with fresh baked goods! Our chickens also keep us stocked with farm fresh eggs, which are sometimes available from our small homestead stand when the girls are laying well.
Two Roots Ridge is conveniently located near several Ozark favorites:

Turn from Hwy. 56 can be tricky for big rigs because of a ditch at Jones Street. Left hand turn is easier than right hand turn.
You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that.
There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas.
The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.)
The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own.

Nearby Red Bluff Overlook and Sand Hole access are reached via county roads that follow and run parallel to the Buffalo River corridor.
4WD/AWD recommended for river roads. Nearby supplies in Saint Joe include Grice’s gas/diesel, food, pizza, ice, and Dollar General for groceries and supplies. Nearby towns also offer additional dining options and seasonal entertainment, including a drive-in theater in Marshall.

Spring Rock Ranch is a 520 acre luxury glamping and natural experience venue. Air conditioning, private ensuite bathroom and plush white bedding make sleeping in the woods so dreamy!
Nature Trails are carved through the woods and fields and are open for guests to explore. Open pastures reveal abundant deer and turkey. Gushing springs, seasonal falls and creeks traverse the land. Wildflowers and native plants and wildlife are abundant, black bears are also sometimes spotted.
The ranch is just 3 miles from Vera Cruz Access (Conservation area for fishing, kayaking, swimming) by gravel road. Located only 11 miles from the new Bryant Creek State Park, opened in 2022. There is also guided fishing, day fishing and pay per pound Trout at Rockbridge, 13 miles away. Just 22 miles to canoe & kayaking at Twin Bridges, 37 miles to Tecumseh Park Fishing Access where the North Fork River runs into the Norfork Lake for Striped Bass and Trout.
The Camp Store on site is opened to guests 24/7 by self-serve, leave payment in the store! We offer firewood bundles, ice cream, eggs, milk, meats, charcoal, hats and shirts, houseplants and more!

Loved this site! The sound of water on the rocks, the clear cool water, the green trees, and the rock wall across the water. We enjoyed sitting by the water and tubing down the small river. We needed some peace and rest and this was it. This is going on our short list to someday visit again.

First, the drive in was scenically gorgeous, and fnding the campsite was astoundingly easy, even being off main roads, everything was clearly labeled. Pulling into the campsite, you definitely feel a sense of peace and privacy. We were in a tent and there was a perfect spot to tuck under some trees for daytime shade. It was such a luxury to have access to electricity and running water, not to mention wifi access for a late night movie was a definite bonus. We were 100 yards from a spring-fed creek, which was crystal clear, with plenty of shallow wading spots and other places were deep enough to swim. We took our river float on the creek and gently floated along until we came to the edge of the property and then did it all over again. This is the most relaxed I have been in years, and my friend and I felt so lucky that we found that paradise last minute. We stayed five days, four nights and had the most blissful time. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and I think my bestie and I found a place we'll want to return again and again. The hosts came by to greet us and were sure to give us a great map of the property they own so that we could explore all there was to see. They were even kind enough to leave some tubes for swimming. I enjoyed meeting them both, and although they're new to hip camp, their hospitality was top notch, with considerations for every kind of camper.

This is an amazing place to stay. We tent camped and it was perfect. The water is crystal clear and never higher than waist deep. The hosts were amazing and so nice. It’s definitely a place I will bring my family back to!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The campsites are right along Clear Creek. The water is crystal clear and had deep spots to swim in and shallow areas to splash in. We had plans for stuff to do nearby but none of my kids wanted to leave the campsite. Our 4 kids are 8-17 and they all had a blast playing in the creek. Super private. We were the only campers while there so it was perfect. We will definitely be coming back.

Calico Rocks was centrally located so we could enjoy City Rock Bluffs, Blanchard Caverns, Bull Shoals Lake and the town of Montain Home.
Patricia was a kind and interesting host, and very helpful in helping us order an electric extension for hook up. (The camp spot is farther away than most!) A very quiet and peaceful Hipcamp! We’d love to come back!

We enjoyed our three nights at Patricia’s quiet little spot, centrally located in the peaceful town of Calico Rocks. We loved the nearby vistas at City Bluff, the Blanchard Cavern tour, the museum in town as well as the town of Mountain Home and Bull Shoals State Park. Patricia was a kind, helpful and interesting host and we’d love to return, as well as try out the beautiful State Park next time

We had an amazing night camping! Was very easy to find with their directions and we were greeted and escorted to our campsite.
Most amazing views and sunset! We purchased firewood at booking and it was ready for us when we arrived. They have great amenities. Even a homemade blueberry muffin for breakfast! We are already talking about our next trip back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this site. Everything was easy to set up and full hook-ups are available. Ms. Patricia is very knowledgeable about the area and is so helpful with tips for shopping, things to do and places to visit. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Buffalo River Hideaway
We absolutely loved our stay here!! Shay is an incredible host and human. We can’t say enough good things about her!
The site is spacious, clean, quiet, and a perfect little slice of heaven. It was close to the river and easy to get to after long days on the Buffalo. I would 1000% recommend staying here and we will be back ASAP!

Beautiful spot in a well-maintained field right by the river. We found the spot with no trouble thanks to Michael's detailed directions. There was a riverside picnic table and a very clean outhouse with hand sanitizer included! The only downside might be that there are train tracks on the other side of the river that lead to some rocket launchpad level noise overnight. I would not let that dissuade me from staying again, however.

The host, Shay, goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable and have what they need. The property is large and peaceful. Access to the river is very nearby. I would very much recommend this place if you want to float the buffalo River or just hang out in the Ozark mountains.

5 nights at Glamping Tent near Mammoth Spring
a magical spot in the woods with a great tent and very comfortable bed. if you want to feel comfortable, but still be camping this is the place. the cooking fire pit is very well crafted and makes cooking over the fire easy. it has well made solar lighted walking paths to both a very nice bathroom with flushing toilet and a pond that provides great frog song that blends with so many birds singing we never turned on our music once! nearby enjoy hiking and views at grand gulf state park and swimming at many local swimming holes along the Spring River. a great choice for your next camping vacation. choose this spot and begin to relax :)

Our experience at this beautiful campground was a delight. The view was stunning, the amenities were incredible, and the hosts were so kind. This spot is unparalleled! We only got to stay one night here but enjoyed every second. The land was pristine. The view from the bluff was breath taking. The host was beyond accommodating and very sweet. The directions to the property were detailed and lead us there no problem. It was very peaceful at night and the stars were gorgeous even on a full moon night. We loved the place and would definitely return in the future.
