Crown Mountain is a charming homestead, lovingly owned and operated by Dustin and Janet Morgan, along with their eight children! We offer a variety of camping options to suit every preference. Choose from an RV spot with full hookups (including water, 30amp power, and septic), a Native American style tipi, or opt for a more traditional camping experience by bringing your own tent and setting up camp on the lush grass or amidst the trees. Whatever your choice, Crown Mountain promises a serene and unforgettable getaway.

The Haywagon

The Haywagon sits on a beautiful spot on our farm that seems made just for camping- level, mown grassy area beneath sprawling shade trees. The flat bed of the haywagon can serve as a platform and will accommodate smaller tents, or you can pitch camp on the grass and use the wagon as a massive table. Except for very wet weather when the ground is saturated, you can park on site! Approx 50 yards to restroom and 75 yards to potable water. Private firepit with firewood included. Stem Rock Natural Area is right across from our driveway- if hiking is your jam, it's roughly a 1 mile hike from the campsite to the overlook!

As might be expected given its extra creative name, this RV spot has full hookup- water, power, and septic. Private firepit with firewood included. Plenty of room for parking! Beautiful mountaintop views! Shade trees in summer! This site is separated from the house only by Dustin's woodworking shop, so while we will respect your privacy, we'll be around, living life and tending our gardens and livestock and watching the children play!

The Bare Bones Lodge

The Bare Bones Lodge is a spacious 16' tipi that will sleep 3 adults with plenty of space. Family-wise, it can easily accommodate Dad and Mom and 4 littles. It is unfurnished-bring your own sleeping pads, sleeping bags, etc- hence it's name. In fair weather, enjoy a view of the stars thru the open smoke flaps. And of course, it makes an amazing backdrop for photos!

The Haywagon
Even though it rained all weekend, I had a lovely time at the Hay Wagon. Dustin was nice enough to help me get all set up. The spot was lovely and quiet, and the latrine and water were super handy.

RV Spot With Full Hookup!
This was hands down the most enjoyable camping experience I have ever had. We arrived far later then we had planned and the property owner, Dustin, was still awake waiting for us to ensure we we're alright, and could find where our spot was on his property. This property that Dustin and his wife have stewarded is truly a little piece of paradise. The toilet they have built is cleaner and more well kept then any other we have visited on our travels. Our children also spent the entire day with the Owner's wonderful children, running around and exploring the land all day. We were fortunate enough to enjoy numerous long conversations with the owners and found our selves looking for reasons to visit back to Arkansas in the future, solely that we could spend time again at their Hip Camp.

The Haywagon
Beautiful property! The site provided some privacy with the haywagon and several trees around. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful area to camp! The site is perfect for car camping. A few trees and the haywagon provide a sense of privacy. They have the nicest outhouse I've ever seen, and there's water available. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. I like that they live on the property so they're nearby. Highly recommend!
