We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. When the river is at a normal level a rock shelf lines the entire length of the river to make fishing and sunbathing, a breeze! If you want to venture out a bit, may we recommend the many offerings of Mount Nebo, Petit Jean Mountain, Mount Magazine, Altus, Russelville, and Conway; all located within 30 minutes to an hour from the campgrounds. Welcome! We want to note on the front hand that if you decide to stay with us you will be staying in a pasture behind a gate. This is especially important if you are tent camping, because your things will be safe while you explore Hot Springs and surrounding areas unlike a State Park or regular campground! Our land is home to a plethora of animals that you can visit with or just watch during your stay. Depending on the time of year and where we are at in our pasture rotation will dictate where the horses and most of the cattle herd are at. If you message me I can let you know! Our goats and a couple of our cows are at the end of the road on the right! The animals you can see are our cattle (most of their names are on their ear tags), horses, goats (working on getting collars with names), Pickles the mini donkey (he’s with the cows), and chickens (when they go out to free range). We also have a stocked pond that you can bring your fishing gear and fish! There are bass, catfish and bream! If you want to love on a cow then Pepper the Holstein is your girl! Pepper knows her name and will come up to talk to you if you call her from the herd. The horses names are Vivian and Bonnie and they sometimes stay in the pasture with our campers, but they are at a different pasture for now! Vivian is the larger of the two white horses and she loves attention. Bonnie is also white, but she is a bit smaller. She is Viv's sister! There is also always the opportunity to see several species of wildlife while here. Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Two different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." Come enjoy the sounds of Ouachita Mountain nature and farm life with us!

Fishing poles are available as an add on. You can bring your own too! Catch small mouth, large mouth, bream, crappie, catfish, gar, carp/buffalo and even walleye, but you’re competing with the neighborhood beaver so be on the lookout for him! Sitting in the middle of an 850 acre nature preserve, you will have plenty of privacy to enjoy a getaway in the woods without being disturbed by other campers. This site is relatively flat and easy to access on the edge of a field along the tree line of the forest. You may notice old stone chimneys standing throughout the woods where cabins once stood, back when Lake Frances was a resort area in the 1920s. On this camp site, we have a Micro Cabin that is wired for a generator (not provided) that sleeps 2, or bring your own tent and enjoy the view of the stars. We have several private campsites sprinkled throughout the forest reserve for you to stay at as you enjoy the Illinois River, hike, or bike the trails. The mountain bike trails run very close to this site and the White Water Park is about 2 miles down the gravel road. The trailhead for the paved bike trail is around the corner from this campsite and goes all the way down to WOKA. There is an off road bike trail located right next to the field by this campsite along with several other trails. There are many more miles of additional mountain bike trails in town and on the north side of Siloam. WOKA has 8 low-hazard whitewater features, seasonal rentals of kayaks, rafts, paddle boards and actual surf boards, and concessions, with shaded viewing. Changing facilities and restrooms are on-site at WOKA. The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is located up river on Fisher Ford Rd, and has access for swimming and tubing. If you enjoy riding dirt bikes or quads, there is the family friendly Off-road race track, Gas MX, directly across the highway from Woka. We also have dirt track racing at Arrowhead Speedway nearby in West Siloam Springs, West of the Casino.

There is plenty of space for everyone, nice shade provided by the canopy of trees, and a beautiful river in which to fish or enjoy a nice swim! Weekend Trip to Cold Creek Valley

This place is such a hidden gem and I’m honored to have stayed on this perfectly preserved land. Described very well so there were no surprises when we got there and Mason was an excellent communicator even though we needed for nothing. Also this place is a dog’s wonder land with shaded trails and a deer hunting field perfect for frisbee (we were there alone and mason allowed for off leash activities). This is a must stay and we will definitely add this to our yearly camping rotation. Thank you Mason! See ya next time.

My wife and I loved camping here! Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and the campsite was clean and well maintained. We came for mountain biking in the area, but also took Jerry and Jill’s swimming location suggestions and were very glad we did!

The directions are confusing. The site was marked 7, though it’s creekside 3. Important. Have your directions and instructions written down or take a screenshot because there is no cell service at the entrance. Having said all this, after a very long drive and a hot and humid day, there is an absolute dreamy swimming hole in the creek. The spot is far enough away from the interstate that you can enjoy the silence only interrupted by cicadas, owl calling to each other and coyotes in the distance.

The site was very big rig friendly. We were on Site 1 and pull straight in with our patio facing the river. We stayed to the left of the pull through area which was more level. We enjoyed a campfire with the firewood provided. The site had 30/50 amp service and water. It was very private, quiet and peaceful. We were the only campers there. There is a large open area if you want to have Starlink, we didn't try as we wanted to be off grid from the Internet. We were lucky to have a barge go by early in the morning. Drive slow when approaching the drive, the 2 red double gates sit back off the road so you have room to pull in before unlocking the gate. It is a great location and would definitely come back if passing through the area.

2 nights at Rustic Ridge

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Arkansas River Cabin! The cabin was clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed flduring our stay. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day! The area around the hot tub is a bit treacherous to walk in flip flops due to the rocky terrain surrounding it and the paving stones shifting underfoot, so just be mindful when you’re walking around it. We did notice large black ants a few other insects crawling around the floor randomly throughout the day. Fortunately they didn’t really bother us. The mattress is a bit thin and slightly too stiff. I slept alright on it, but it was more uncomfortable for my wife. Overall, it was a great time and worth the price!

The clear creek running through the property is what motivated us to book a site at Wilson’s. We were not disappointed! Despite the very hot temperatures the creek remained cool and refreshing. The camp sites are situated on such a neat piece of property. Lots of trees, bluffs, large boulders and the flowing creek was a plus for us. The owners are kind and considerate and were very quick to respond if we had questions. Overall it was a great stay at Wilson’s Clear Creek Camp!
