Sitting in the middle of an 850 acre nature preserve, you will have plenty of privacy to enjoy a getaway in the woods without being disturbed by other campers. This site is relatively flat and easy to access on the edge of a field along the tree line of the forest. You may notice old stone chimneys standing throughout the woods where cabins once stood, back when Lake Frances was a resort area in the 1920s. On this camp site, we have a Micro Cabin that is wired for a generator (not provided) that sleeps 2, or bring your own tent and enjoy the view of the stars. We have several private campsites sprinkled throughout the forest reserve for you to stay at as you enjoy the Illinois River, hike, or bike the trails. The mountain bike trails run very close to this site and the White Water Park is about 2 miles down the gravel road. The trailhead for the paved bike trail is around the corner from this campsite and goes all the way down to WOKA. There is an off road bike trail located right next to the field by this campsite along with several other trails. There are many more miles of additional mountain bike trails in town and on the north side of Siloam. WOKA has 8 low-hazard whitewater features, seasonal rentals of kayaks, rafts, paddle boards and actual surf boards, and concessions, with shaded viewing. Changing facilities and restrooms are on-site at WOKA. The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is located up river on Fisher Ford Rd, and has access for swimming and tubing. If you enjoy riding dirt bikes or quads, there is the family friendly Off-road race track, Gas MX, directly across the highway from Woka. We also have dirt track racing at Arrowhead Speedway nearby in West Siloam Springs, West of the Casino.

On this primitive camp site, bring your own tent and enjoy the view of the stars. I highly recommend Candice's land! Location was close to town. Exactly what we needed for a quick get away. My husband and I spent one night here with our 15ft camper trailer. Host was outstanding, and very responsive.

just got home from a small weekend get away with the family. how refreshing was it to enjoy such a secluded camping spot! especially with a two year old, we were able to allow him to roam free. easy to find location with plenty of activities to do throughout the day. host were very informative and friendly! def recommend taking spray for tics i mean it is the woods. :)

Loved this camp spot! Secluded, in the woods site. Easy to find and was peaceful. Close to woka and siloam springs for kayaking fun. Host was friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing time!!! Perfect for a weekend away from home. This spot is large enough for the whole family or a romantic getaway. Highly recommended. Also the fire pit is a little bit off into the woods and it made for a beautifully relaxing time and there is a porta potty on sight so no need to go in the woods! If you are needing a camping spot this is it!!!

France's Lake is a nice well kept campsite in the woods, with ample space and possibility to let dogs off the leash. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Beatiful, private sites. Easy access and wonderful accomodating hosts. We ended up having a fun conversation about the history of Siloam and Lake Frances. 5 stars. Great spot.

2nd time staying @ 'Lake Francis' site. Great, convenient place to pitch a tent (or hammock in my case) when in or going through NW Ark. Very secluded & pretty quiet for a good night's sleep. Picked up a few ticks each time, but hey - it's the woods.

The camp site is amazingly beautiful. Hosts are very friendly. Abundant wildlife, I had a family of opossums cross through the camp in the evening. The site is close to a lot to do, yet is really private!
