First Hipcamper Club
Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
We are located on a peninsula of Norfork Lake. There is a gravel road next to our property that leads 0.8 miles to the lake. We are close to hiking trails, George's Cove Boat Launch, and countless places of interest around Mountain Home and Mountain View, Arkansas. A gravel pad with water and 50-amp service is available, as well as several more rustic locations set farther from the house. We host self-contained RVs only. No tents, cargo trailers, truck toppers, or cars. Your rig must have a working bathroom and be in good condition. The gravel pad has a 50-amp electrical connection and water from our private well. There is ample room to park your tow vehicle or towed vehicle beside your RV. You should be able to connect to our Wi-Fi. If not, many guests have had no trouble getting cellular service. The pad has easy access from our gravel drive with plenty of room. We have hosted 45' 5-th wheels and Class A with no problems.

Campfires allowed
Firepit, communal. We usually have wood sitting around that needs to be burned in our front yard firepit. No fires allowed when Baxter County is under a burn ban.
Pets allowed
Off leash. We have an 8 year old husky mix that is usually pretty good with other dogs as long as they are not alphas. If your dog gets along with ours, you are welcome to let them off leash. If not, I will let you know before I let mine out.
No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets
All RVs must be self contained with a working toilet. Bears potty in the woods, not guests!
Potable water available
Spigot, pump or well. We have a private 500' well. The water is good as is, but we still filter it for drinking.
Wifi available
We have fiber internet at 100mps down and 100mps up. The signal comes from inside our barn so it may be spotty inside your RV.
No showers
Your unit must be self contained. We do not allow outdoor showers.
Pack it out
Garbage is based on how full our bin becomes before collection day. If we have capacity, it shouldn't be a problem, but we don't promise garbage service.
Cooking equipment absent
Picnic table absent
Laundry absent
Hot Tub absent
No playground
