Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $25 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat. Ask me about adding a boat slip to your reservation or about getting a discount for a long-term stay. I offer a 25% discount for stays of a month or more. Boat rentals are available at the resort. I have a link I can send to make a reservation in advance. We stay open all year round! Please note, the water spigots at the RV sites can't be turned on if the outdoor temperature is below freezing. *Lake Taneycomo will look different based on the seasons, weather, and the flow of water in the lake. It is common to see a large amount of duckweed in the lake, especially in the coves, during periods of high heat. It isn't attractive, but it is harmless. The maintenance crew at the resort constantly works to keep the coves looking as nice as possible, but it is a natural body of water, so there's only so much that can be done.*

Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! This is not a residential campground like so many in the area - it is exclusively for camping enthusiasts! Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Laundry facilities are also available on site - rather than charging exorbitant rates for using the washer and dryer like other RV parks or laundromats, we opted to make it available to our guests for a simple monetary donation. We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer. The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle. The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43. Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

Great place! Very close to Jasper for food and supplies. and Ponca for swimming. Met the owner he was extremely friendly. The place was spotless and the bathhouse was amazing! Will stay again for sure!!!

Weekend Trip to Flatwoods Mountain RV Park

Our 10yo son wanted to start our review. He said, “5 stars! The owners are super nice, they give you all the information you need to know to have a safe and fun stay. The bathrooms are super nice. You get and entire yard at your site instead of being smashed next to your neighbor.” Mom and dad agree with all of the above. We’d like to add how wonderful it was to have laundry and firewood on site. Shane and Debbie are oh so kind; they have built a little oasis and put extra finishing touches that ensure a wonderful stay.

View of Site #8 - it is a back-in spot, approximately 45 feet in length, water/electric only. 50/30/20 amp service is available. We are the only campground in the area that provides potable water.

Shane and Debra were extremely friendly and came by to welcome us to their park. The view was lovely, and it was great to sit and drink my coffee each morning watching the birds in this peaceful atmosphere. The bathrooms were nice and clean, too. The grounds were pristine, as well. We enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved this place. Shane came by every day to check on things and he was so kind, always making sure that we were good. The sites have a lot of space between them so you never feel like you’re right on top of your neighbors and the view is lovely. The best thing though is the bathroom. They could have easily put 2 shower & toilet stalls in each space but they didn’t. This means you have a huge shower where you won’t bang your elbows on the wall & there’s two big benches for your stuff.

Great location. Train only went through about twice a day, but time was consistent and only slightly noisy when the excursion trains also roll during the day on weekends. We rented a boat for a day and visited everything in the area. Highly recommend.

View of Site 6, which is a back-in, approximately 72' in length. LOTS of room to spread out! This site is shaded in the evenings. If there isn't enough room for your vehicle(s) to park within the site itself, you may park at the edge of the roadway adjacent to your site. Please, only two wheels in the grass and be mindful of the space other park visitors will need when driving/towing their RV past your vehicle. Please do not drive across the erosion control devices we have in place.

Site #7 - back-in, water/electric only. It is 45' long. 50/30/20 amp service is available - take your pick! We are the only campground in the area that provides potable water.

We would stay here again. The directions and instructions were clear and everything was as advertised. Sites A1&2 had plenty of shade and sky ( so Starlink worked). We appreciated the air conditioned showers after a day of mountain biking.

Can’t say enough great things about this spot! This was our 5th Hipcamp this week as we are traveling home to Louisiana from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and it was BY FAR the best one. Not only this week, but the best we have ever stayed at overall. When we pulled in, Shane came to greet us. He gave us local dining and hiking recommendations & was so kind, letting us know if we need anything at all to contact him. The property was spotless, not a blade of grass out of place. The layout of the sites was so well thought out. They were huge, giving plenty of space between each camper. It was nice to have access to full hookups and also trash disposal. And can we talk about the bathroom/shower!!!! Easily the biggest and best we have experienced. Could have spent an hour in the shower!!! It was so convenient that firewood was offered and you can pay onsite. Neat little laundry room that you can use for a donation. Such a cool park, great setup, great owners. Only downside was we only had time to stay 2 nights. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Please note that several months after this picture was taken, we had to make the very difficult decision to remove the tree on the RH side when it became diseased. The large tree on the LH side of the picture still stands. As evening approaches, these sites do enjoy partial shade due to the large stand of trees across the road from the park.

Weekend Trip to SilverStream Lodging

Lots of large trees helped provide a sense of privacy. Sites were spread out so you also didn't feel like you were camping right on your neighbor's doorstep. The campsite was quiet in the evenings no loud rowdy folks which was just great for us early risers and early to bed folks.
