My best friend and I decided to go camping for the weekend on very short notice. We found this spot which was so nice and pretty. The creek wrapped around the campsites. The water is so clear and refreshingly cold. It might even be a spring. There is a beautiful sunflower field that is just a glorious backdrop at sunrise and sunset. The campsite is very spacious and private. It was a great weekend. Very relaxing and Ann and Dave were super friendly and worked around our tardiness getting there. Over all one of the prettiest campsites I’ve ever been to! I plan to go back soon but with a bigger group this time!! 10/10 recommend!

Buehler River Camp Site 2
Dave and Ann have a treasure here and they are also great hosts. Our family of 4 tent camped at site 2 for 5 days. It was bordered on all sides with either the clear Spring River or a field of sunflowers. They have put love into the set up with lighting, chairs, two fire pits, charcoal grill, trash bin, portapotty, and a spacious gravel lot that is so nice for keeping the site clean - no mud. We didn't use the deck except to put up our fishing bag and poles but it is a neat and unique feature. Tons of space for multiple campers and/or tent setups. Trees aplenty for shade. The spring-fed river kept us comfortable on 112°f heat index days. Plenty to do: swimming, casual catch and release fishing, rock hunting and painting, hammocking, crawdad catching, exploring. Mount Vernon is ~10 min away with gas stations, Walmart, fast food and some restaurants. Check for copperheads and leaches in the river, and horse and buggy on the roads!

Buehler River Camp Site 2
This place is such a great spot to spend the evening. Storms rolled through on us the entire time, but it was such a good spot that we really enjoyed sitting under our awning watching the river roll as the storms came through. The hosts are great and our dogs (and cat) had a great time exploring the water, fields and woods that surround it. Great views, great privacy… this one is definitely on our favorites list for the future

We loved our stay out here. The views and sounds of riverside camping are amazing. Kids loved the easy embankment into the water for swimming, and fishing was good here as well.
Wonderful people to work with. The campsite was private and spacious. They had a nice table, chairs, bbq grill, and a fire ring. The creek is right there is awesome.

The site was absolutely gorgeous. Right on the river with so many places for a hammock. Huge fire pit and covered pavilion with lots of shade around. The dogs loved being off leash and jumping in the river. We will be back for sure!!
We stayed at Campsite 2 & absolutely loved it! We will definitely be coming back!
It was very peaceful and a great time. Sites are easy to get too and had no troubles.

We came with 4 little kids and this is such a great find! The firepit and chairs are perfect, the covered pick-nick table is great for preparing food, and the little lights are wonderful. They are also nice for seeing the edge of the bank once it gets later in the evening. We hope to come again!

The site was fantastic! Loved the location and all the space. Perfect for family groups!
This place was amazing. I arrived late and the host was not available for a duration of time. We were able to find the site based on a previous review. The campsite has been my favorite so far from the app. I really can not wait to return.
This is our new favorite spot. We have stayed at both site 1 & 2. The sites are always clean and ready to go. We have gone alone several times, however, Each site has multiple tent spots for larger groups! Creek Front fire Pits!!! We give this 7 stars out of 5!

This is one of our favorite camping spots anywhere! Right next to the crystal clear water, with a pavilion, and a great firepit. The whole property is beautiful. Ann and Dave are fantastic hosts. Highly recommend!

In an effort to preserve this hidden gem... “you definitely don’t camp here, it’s horrible!” — JUST KIDDING! We loved our stay at Buehler Farms, it was such a fun oasis for family and puppy. Totally private, but close enough to town to grab essentials if needed. We loved fishing in the river, caught a ton of creek chub and even a rainbow trout! We’ll definitely be back. This place would even be great for a trip with another family, plenty of room for everyone. (Just bring a good mallet if you plan to stake your tent in the rocky areas).

Exactly as advertised, beautiful location. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! We already have plans on staying again next month!
The most beautiful private paradise!!! The creek runs 3 sides of the deck and the solar lights are a perfect touch. I couldn't keep my little Annie (fur baby) out of the creek. The Farm is a beautiful operation with lots of history.

It is beautiful property with a cold ,clear water creek to swim in nestled back in the woods a bit and all on a rock bar . Nice big deck to set up a tent or your dining. Hanging solar lights to keep things well lit at night . This particular site is NOT private like the other site. There is an access road for the farmer and his farm hands also other campers looking for the other campsites . Great for family
We stayed for 3 nights and our 3 teens didn't touch their phones the entire trip! We put our tent up on the deck and it was perfect to see the stars when going to sleep. Kids barely left the creek, we all used tubes to go down the swift part and had a blast. They were doing work on the fields around us but it didn't bother us at all and we still felt like we were in our own little world. The campsite was clean, had a BBQ grill, fire pit, picnic table and multiple chairs. The outhouse was a bit of a walk from the deck area but was very clean and had toilet paper provided. Overall we loved this location and the hosts got right back to us if we had any questions. We will definitely camp here again!
