Just a disclaimer; Sebring Raceway is 7 miles away and if the wind is right you can hear the cars racing, also, lake Istokpoga is big for airboats so we do hear them running some. Perhaps the best known fact about River Ranch is that it holds the record for the longest operating rodeo in Florida. Many local and national champions perform here on a weekly basis. You can also opt to catch a movie at the local theater or take a tour of the Florida's Natural orange juice factory.
If you're up for a 45-60 min drive you can also visit several of the attractions often featured in "weird Florida" guides including Solomon's Castle, Gatorland, and Monument of the States. And let's not forget, the more well-known attractions, Disney World and Universal Studios are also conveniently located about 45-60 minutes away.
When you're ready to stock up on supplies, we're near gas stations and grocery stores (don't leave without trying the famous Publix subs). There are also coin operated laundry options near by.
If you need it, there is a reputable RV tire and service company about 10 minutes away.

We have a large mango tree (mangoes are seasonal) and over 150 mango trees that range from starts to three-year-old trees scattered around the property. Additionally, we have an outdoor pool. Pool hours 8am to 6pm or ask for special times.
You can enjoy boating, kayaking, sailboats, and BBQs right at our lakeside dock. Not into lakes? You can swim in our outdoor pool with a waterfall and decorative koi pond close by. The views of the lake are stunning.
If you want to explore nearby attractions, we are close to Florida theme parks such as Disney, LegoLand, and Bush Gardens, and it's only a 40-minute drive to Gulf Coast beaches (we supply all beach gear; just ask). We ended up not staying at site #1, but rather around the lake, under the palms. It was so peaceful. The night sky was amazing. Our dogs ran around and we got to know Bruno the farm dog, as well as the horses who visited us (and enjoyed carrots). I would stay in the same site again.

Silver Bullet Stables is a lively place. A variety of animals, including; horses, longhorn steers, donkeys, chickens, cats and dogs. Along with the neighboring bull and St Bernard and of course the wildlife and sunsets! They host horse riding lessons for the local 4H kids and others. Watching the crew work with the variety of horses, some newly acquired was fun. It is laidback and relaxing place, but so full of life! We thoroughly enjoyed both of our visits this winter and look forward to future stays.

It was a great weekend. The hosts went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Gave a nice sheet of information about the area. Dogs welcomed off leash. We will be back for sure

We loved tent camping at Luiz’s property. It was peaceful and exactly as described. Luiz was very welcoming. The horses and cows roam the area which was nice to see. Our dogs enjoyed it. Property is dog friendly. Our dog was off leash and enjoyed running around as well as splashing in the water. We will definitely be back to visit.

This was a nice quiet spot for tent camping! The basic amenities are covered with 2 chairs, firepit, and picnic table. There is a bathroom and running water, but it is a few minute walking distance across the property. Overall great spot for an overnight stay!

Loved the river access along with the amenities and animals on property. It did not bother us but there was 4 wheelers in the morning but we aren’t camping to sleep in we are camping to have fun and explore!

This is a fabulous place! We extended our stay 2 more days after feeling so safe and comfortable so this spot was the one we moved over to. The guys are fantastic hosts!
