Call us bias, but there’s nothing better than small town life. When the "blue roof cottage by the tracks" (yes, it used to have a unique blue roof) hit the market in early 2021, we knew it had to be ours! We purchased it & flipped it into a vacation home for guests of Folkston .. and The Conductor's Corner was born. Because we are also avid RV'ers, we thought what better way to finish off our corner than to add a few first-class RV sites to accommodate the camping community. We hope you enjoy your stay on our corner! In a small town in the south, where the Okefenokee Swamp runs deep and railfans thrive, the Conductor’s Corner stands out. The Conductor’s Corner features 3 premium RV sites directly on the rail lines of the Folkston Funnel. This railfan's dream neighbors the Folkston Railfan Train Platform. The spacious concrete pads are perfect for a night of watching trains under the stars. 20x50 concrete pads with 30/50 amp power, water, sewer, Wifi & picnic tables. A quick 3 minute walk from the Conductor’s Corner will lead to the heart of Main Street where visitors will find a plethora of hidden treasures: coffee shops, boutiques, local eateries, the Train Museum and so much more. Guests could spend a day exploring the habitats and waterways of the Okefenokee Swamp or take a short drive to neighboring communities such as Cumberland Island, Savannah, Golden Isles or Amelia Island or Jacksonville in Florida. All the comforts of home and the utmost southern hospitality are included in your stay on our corner. The Conductor's Corner also includes a vacation cottage available for rent (sleeps 6).

🌿 Welcome to Blackwater, Y’all! Just 40 minutes outside Jacksonville, Blackwater is a secluded 10+ acre private riverfront property located at Georgia’s southernmost tip, right on the FL-GA line. Surrounded by protected preserve and tucked along a quiet river bend, Blackwater delivers “Old Florida” vibes, unspoiled nature, a peaceful country feel, and privacy you won’t find at a public campground. Across the river views, you’ll find 150+ acres of untouched Florida preserve, giving you a peaceful, remote feel while still being close to town for essentials. We are situated on the St. Marys River, a rain-fed river flowing from the Okefenokee Swamp. Natural tannins from peat give the water its famous black appearance in deeper areas and golden “sweet tea” in the shallows. ✔️ Clean, refreshing water - safe for swimming (no gators!) ✔️ Naturally antibacterial ✔️ No pollutants or runoff ✔️ No smell, mud, or rocky bottom ✔️ Soft white sugar-sand riverbed The property sits on Trail Ridge, an ancient coastal dune formation over 10,000 years old. This unique elevation creates a rare natural sugar-sand riverbank and swimming area perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. 🌱 A Rare Southern Ecosystem Blackwater sits at the intersection of riverfront, ancient shoreline, upland hardwood forest, and cypress wetlands, all on one property. Pines, live oaks, saw palmettos, wax myrtle, and wild huckleberry fill the landscape, creating a diverse Southern ecosystem rarely found in a single place. 🏕️ Camping for Families and Groups Well-spaced sites across open wooded areas allow guests to spread out without the packed-in feel of state parks. Ideal for tent camping, vanlife, families, and small or large group gatherings looking to connect with nature and each other. A large 70ft covered riverfront pavilion with power, water, hammocks, and a firepit overlooks the river. 🔎 Quick Camp Details 🏕️ Spacious sites on a 10+ acre private property 🚗 Easy vehicle access 🔥 Firepits and grills throughout 🌌 Dark, quiet nights - incredible stargazing 🐕 Dog-friendly - FREE 📶 Cell service is spotty (great to unplug) 🚣 Things To Do Swim • Fish • Kayak • Canoe • Paddleboard • Explore 📍 Minutes from St. Marys Shoals Equine Park 📍 Close to Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge

Our campground  was founded in 1980 on a family owned estate established in the mid 1800. We are just a short drive off of I-95 in Coastal Ga, near Brunswick,Ga; only minutes from the beaches of the Golden Isles of Ga, Okefenokee Swamp Park and Northeast Fl. Our large campsites will never leave you with concerns about invading the space neighboring campers. Many of our guest are content with watching the river roll by without hearing the noise of automobiles or emergency vehicles. We are just a small 12 acre property working towards being a self-sustaining homestead. We have power and water at the barn where you can park your travel trailer or larger RV. While you're here we're very happy to share our lovely farm animals with you. Never held a chicken before? You can here! Want to pet a goat or hold a goat kid? We're happy to let you do so. I'm not sure the ducks or geese will let you hold or pet them, but you can certainly watch them swim and quack throughout the day. Want to sit on the dock of the bay? Well, we don't have a bay, but we do have a pond with a dock where you can do some fishing or just enjoy the feel of the sun on your face and the sounds of the birds chirping. There's also a really nice park across the street where you can see a waterfall. Yes a waterfall in Florida. It's small but beautiful and there's some trails where you can walk around the park and enjoy all the beauty mother nature has to offer. Learn more about this land: Whether you're looking for an overnight spot or a place to camp for several days, our little spot is conveniently located less than a mile off of I10, exit 301. You'll be privately tucked into a quiet corner of our property where you have a walking trail and full access to our stocked pond for fishing or just hanging out. There's a little Columbia County Park co-managed with Suwannee River Water Management District across the street. The park has a boardwalk that takes you out to view the waterfall, picnic tables, a playground and a historic church.
