Secluded space for boating/camping
I stayed a single night with my four-year-old on her first camping trip. We were greeted by the host when we arrived. The area was completely devoid of other campers (major plus in my opinion) and we found a small firepit, parked near it, and set up camp. There are no set camping spaces, so we just found a spot with flat(ish) ground and stayed there. A bit later, the host delivered the wood we had purchased as part of the booking, since we forgot to ask him for it when we checked in. There is a small porta potty on the grounds, a spigot with potable water near the entrance and small, stone beach to launch boats. It seems like it would be perfect for people looking to boat around on the Scioto River and have a place to camp when they are done. The beach is all river rock, as you would expect for a boat launch, so bring a pair of water shoes if you want to wade in the water and a foldable chair to set on if you want to be down by the water. Overall, it was a great time and really affordable!
