So much to do in Cambridge, Hoosick and Shushan NY, or cross over to Manchester, Arlington or North Bennington, VT. Go horseback riding at Kimberly Farms riding stable up the road.
Experience unique foods like cheesecake from the Nuns of New Skete or freshly made donuts at King's Donuts on Sunday Mornings. What a beautiful spot! Kimberly is a fantastic and friendly host, I'm sorry we didn't get to hang out a little more, maybe next time! The campsites are peaceful and quiet (notwithstanding the silly guinea hens!) and the entire property is greatly enlivened by Kim's current foster dog Buddy. And of course the alpacas, what characters! I will definitely stop here again when I'm back in the east.

Although it was storming, it was a beautiful location with lots to do. There’s Alphas, turkeys, chickens, etc that you can fed and pet. Our boys loved it. The morning was nice to wake up to sun and enjoy the country views. Our site was on the back of the property, it was very remote feeling and we loved it! Definitely coming back!
Staying at Kimberly's place was SO awesome. I camped with a few friends. The property was so beautiful, views of the rolling hills, large open pasture/grass areas, big trees on property. The facilities such as the outhouse were convenient and very clean. Kimberly was excellent in communication and a generous host. Our group loved the alpacas and was able to help Kimberly get some hay down in the barn. Super lovely retreat from the city. Hope to come back!
Kimberly has a wonderful setup at State Line Bunks. She is very thorough in her directions on how to get to her location which is quite helpful. Upon arrival you will be greeted by a free roaming dog or two, just so you are aware.
My plans changed a bit and I was not going to arrive until after dark. Kimberly was completely understanding still greeted me upon arrival. My campsite was clean and had a fire area and wooden camp chair for use. The field is beautiful and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen so many stars at night! The morning light was accompanied by sounds of the farm, roosters and turkeys. I took the time to see the alpacas and there were even a few babies!
When picking campsites, Yon Barn and Yon Apple tree would be closest to the restroom. Lane’s End would necessitate a little walk.
Overall a great place to stay and I would recommend to any friend.
This location was very pretty and quiet. The host and her pack of happy dogs were very welcoming. I would absolutely stay again.
Peaceful and remote stay with lots to do in the area. It was great arriving on the farm greeted by alpacas and dogs, and seeing the stars at night. The host was very friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful place to stay, surrounded by open fields and mountains! There are multiple sites spread out so there's plenty of privacy. Fire pit and friendly farm animals (meaning early morning rooster crowing) included as an added bonus. It was quite peaceful during the evening, and so it was possible to hear coyotes in the distance at one point. Also, Kimberly was so friendly helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Woke up to the sound of alpacas, roosters crowing and a live field secluded from the world.
Night skies were gorgeous. Fireplaces were lit. Absolutely loved staying at this amazing HipCamp location. Booking was easy. My my husband and my dog enjoyed this stay away from everyone.
My favorite favorite part was the alpacas!!!!!!!! How coool!!!!!!!! Also great location to bring your rv or car tent to. We camped with a tent on our Jeep and it was absolutely fantastic. Not many bugs either!
Great location if you want to be near animals. Great hosts!
