What was once formerly the Jepson homestead in the early to late 1800’s is now a private getaway for those looking for the traditional camping experience. The view of the Taconic Mountains, Jiminy Peak and Mt. Greylock will take your breath away!! With open fields and plenty of trails to explore, you’ll have no shortage of exploration. We offer three different listings, so check out to see which one fits your needs. A peaceful and private 40+ acre property with one of the best views in Southern Vermont (Mountain Top Getaway). Sitting atop mountains with a gorgeous view of nearby Williamstown, MA,the Taconic Mountain range, Jiminy Peak and Mt. Greylock. Trees, mountains and windmills make up this amazing view. Miles of trails encompass the property and surrounding watershed land allowing ample hiking and biking excursions. Plenty of wildlife to keep you feeling lost in nature as well! Firewood available on site for purchase (While supplies last) or feel free to gather your own from the dead fall. Come see this amazing view and you won’t be disappointed! Million Dollar View

Perfect Secluded Camping spot!

We love this spot. It's our absolute favorite getaway camping location. When we go camping we like to get lost in the wilderness and this is exactly that! We've stayed in this location a few times now and it's always perfect and just what we needed. We hope to be back soon! Thanks so much!

Million Dollar View

Highly recommend!

Nick’s property was a perfect spot for a quick getaway with beautiful mountain views. It was quiet and peaceful. Although not many level places to set up a tent, I made it work. My dogs absolutely LOVED having free roam of the area. The directions given were simple and easy to find off of a windy dirt road. Several trails around the area and only about 10-15 minutes from town. Verizon service worked fabulous at the site. 4WD is highly recommended - unfortunately the 4WD in my truck broke once I got to the top of the hill where the campsite is. I panicked since I was alone and 3 hours away from home, and Nick was very responsive- he rode up on his quad to not only help me take a look at the truck but brought me firewood as well. He even took the time to research issues with the model of my vehicle and offered to help me fix it the following morning while also checking up on me a few hours later to make sure I was alright. If you had to get stranded anywhere, Nick’s place would be the place to do it! He’s a very kind soul! Once we can get the 4WD fixed, we’d love to take another trip up. One night was not enough to soak in the amount of beauty this place offers. Thanks again Nick!

It was an amazing property, the host was very communicative and even helped me get to the campsite in the middle of the night. Very nice and overall amazing experience. Will definitely choose this place again.

Million Dollar View

This Hipcamp is aptly named. It is indeed a million dollar view. The first two days that we were there we never left our campsite. Southwest Vermont was new to us and the view from our campsite looked just as we imagined it would. That coupled with absolute peaceful silence made for a great stay. It felt as though we were all alone in a pristine location. When a thunderstorm squall passed through, Nick reached out to us to be sure that we were all right. He followed up by coming up to check on us. I genuinely thoughtful young man.
