When renting online we didn’t know that in the sites the camping spots are extremely close together, there’s no privacy. Fortunately the staff took care of us and moved our site to another which was PERFECT. It was an amazing weekend. Some staff could have been a bit friendlier but other than that it was AMAZING

I went camping with some mom friends and our kids- 3 moms, 5 kids. We loved that our tent camping sights were right on the lake. The kids had a blast on the beach and docks- from 7:30 in the morning until dinner. I liked that we had grills, fire circles, picnic tables, and a shady spot we could put our tent. The bath house was clean- which we very much appreciated!
There were a few things which could have been better. 1) I felt like the tent sights weren’t obviously labeled. We had to park, and walk around to find ours. Once we found it there was no problem. However if you’re coming in the evening it might be hard to find which is yours. 2) I paid for firewood. I though that the website stated a bundle would be delivered to our camp site. Instead when I checked in there were very picked over lumber scraps and bark which I was told to pick out and put in my car to take to the camp site. It felt a bit like it was over promised and under delivered.
Having said that we would definitely go back, I just have a better sense of what to expect now.

The landscape was pretty. Other than tent camping, they have places with srive through RV sites with hookups. In addition to the 5 lakeside tent sites we were part of, there seemed to be additional tent sites on wooden decks. The toilet and shower facility was conveniently located within the tents sites.

The lake was pretty, there is a small beach area, but during our stay, the weather did not permit us to enjoy getting in the water. It was chilly with some precipitation. I would stay here again. With such a short distance to antique shopping in Petosi and a nearby winery, our two day stay was very enjoyable.

Absolutely ADORE Spring Lake Ranch! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying right on the lake. It was so quaint and perfect. I actually booked our next stay while we were still there. 😁 We plan on coming at least once a month in the summer!!
