Milo has mant tent sites, car camping sites (for retroverted cars & sprinter vans), 6 cabins, a luxury guest space for you to stay! Sorry we DO NOT have any RV spots at this time. Our cabins are the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse just past the big barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. We have a Hobbit Hut near the Frog Pond, a Boho Bus near the entry way and several Vardos (gypsy wagons). For our tent campers there are tent sites in the Eastfield, including the Movie set location of the DM Cabin, and for diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land.
We also have SO may attractions! There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals, a library and more. Find all the portals here!

Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in. We have a Call to Prayer 9:30am every day in the Art Studio/Spirit Shack, you may join us! Loni is a spiritual intuitive and can do a reading using the Milo Farm Oracle cards she created! Ask for availability of these things. Milo has a lot to offer!

We live on a small paradise covering 2 acres. We have plenty of space for 33' foot campers, tents, vans, etc. Our backyard has been designed to accommodate families and the single nomads. We are a small hobby farm with a dog, chickens, a small fruit orchard, vineyard, and garden!! On the north end of the property we created a playground with a jungle gym, swings, trampoline, playhouses, outside polyjohn/toilet, and a 16' pool. This property is pet friendly but be warned we do have a large dog (very friendly)! We have power to support smaller 20amp campers with water and a dump station.
An outdoo shower will be available in July 2024.

1855 Campground is 45 acres of private property, dedicated to the natural Ozark experience. We border the Mark Twain National Forest, enjoy the outdoors at its best.
Our space offers 7 large campsites to provide privacy & serenity.
Site 1, Little Brushy Creek with parking.
Site 2, Nancy’s Landing, smaller site close to the creek with parking.
Site 3 Bills Base Camp, located high up in the woods.
Sites 4 & 5 Walnut Grove, large flat grassy sites in a meadow with wildflowers.
Site 6 Hidden Hollow, located in a private cove.
Site 7 Roberts Mountain located high up in the woods.
Sites 3-4-5-6-7 are remote wooded campsites. Accessible by foot only & upon request a free shuttle of your camping gear. MUST arrive before 8pm when booking these remote sites.
Bordering the National Forest, so hiking is abundant & encouraged. Far from the city is ideal for star gazing & amazing photo ops. There is a year round freshwater spring flowing nearby.

This land has been asking to be shared. First it was swings and little things for the grandchildren and their friends. Then the Cabin by the pond began to welcome visitors. Soon the steep slope anchored a Yurt with a wrap-around deck that puts you up in the trees. Our gathering spot by the creek became a camp site. Recently the grandkids' Bunk House found its way in. Our Retreat is 10 acres, narrow, but 1/4 mile deep, stretching down a steep wooded slope to a creek - and up the other side to the top of a bluff. It is only ten miles to Jefferson City but has a quiet and distant feel.

Hike peaceful trails, exploring the wooded hills until you find the perfect spot for your tent. If you select a spot near the clearing, you will have access to the picnic table and fire circle. Spend your days mountain biking, hiking, fishing and watching wildlife on a private ranch in the Ozark Mountains, less than a quarter mile from the Mark Twain National Forest. Less than five miles from Indian Trail State Forest (Indian Trail Conservation Area) with beautiful Blackwell Lake. Canoeing and kayaking are less than an hour away (Meramec River, Current River and Jacks Fork River), as well as trout fishing at scenic Meramec Spring Park or Montauk State Park. Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time here and it’s all thanks to Kenny and Joan. We arrived a bit later than expected, but Kenny was more than welcoming and helpful despite the late arrival. The site was so peaceful and calm and clean. It genuinely felt like too good to be true the whole entire trip. Not only were the animals and land around so beautiful and fun, but the accommodations and resources available were just as satisfying. It really felt like we were family there. Definitely a time to remember and we loved it so much we couldn’t believe what a gem we had found picking this place. I would rate the hosts and everything about this place and trip an 11/10 and definitely would love to come here every time for a camping trip. Thank you Kenny and Joan for an awesome experience ❤️🙏 oh and “Trapper” is the coolest cat there is!

The two campsites are very well maintained and appointed. Our class B+ negotiated the roads and site without issue. Hobbit Hollow sits on a perch above the Big Piney. The electric, water, and sewer hookups we're convenient. As were the various bbq pits and smokers. A new restroom was installed next to an outdoor shower and several sinks. We watched deer, geese, and ducks as the sun set. The river bluffs are towering. Access to the river is a short walk, rivers do change. Caught several smallies. This is a very private and quiet camping spot. Kate was easy to communicate with. Firewood was available for purchase. Nice place.

My husband and I really loved tent camping at DnD! It’s a beautiful campground and site #1 is right on the water! It was secluded and quiet, just like we wanted! My advice to the next campers would be to park at the top of the campsite’s hill if you don’t have a legit 4wd! We got stuck, and we called Debra and her husband. They helped us out, and we enjoyed some great conversation. They are absolutely wonderful people, and I really hope to make it back there someday!

We loved staying on the secluded peninsula! The spot was so relaxing, loved being on the water and not too close to other campers but an easy walk to the shower house if you need to. Easy check in, kayak around the lake was lovely. We did hike the red trail which was not as maintained as I would expect for a marked trail. Overall though a very lovely and relaxing stay.

This was our second trip to Crooked Creek! It was beautiful weather this time. Such a nice, private place to relax with the dogs and nature. It is very secluded but close enough to town that you can make the trip in if you need more ice or some such. We love crooked creek! Thank you to Ross for always being a great host.

We stayed on site 3 in a rooftop tent - if you’re planning on using an overland setup, I’d recommend this site specifically. 4x4 recommendation is also for real, would not recommend in a car. If you do, for sure stay to the sites on the water.
