This is a 10-acre part of a larger 110-acre property. This section is reserved for tents, camping vans, and small trailers 20' or less. The river is great for small children to wade and swim in during the summer. During spring, the water is up higher for kayaks and canoes. Your hosts live at 1010 205th Ave. It is just a vineyard for now. the winery we hope will be built in 2025.

The camping area is ten acres alongside the Ground house river. Fish are in the river, and the water level fluctuates for tubing or kayaking. The property borders state land used for horse riding and is great for biking. Bring your horses; we now have facilities to tie the horses. You need to bring your own water and food. Pack out what you pack in.

This is one our more private sites that is on higher ground that over looks the river. River is accessible with a steep 4 foot decline to the river. This is a very popular site choice for our repeat customers. Great for water loving children 7 years or older. and dogs. Looking forward to meeting you.

This site comes with a little sleeping cabin. Camper needs to supply air matresss and bedding. The camping area is ten acres alongside the Groundhouse river. Currently, the entrance might have ground bees. There has been no issue with other campers using that site, but we do want to make future campers aware. They are yet to be identified by species. We only see holes. We tried to get a picture of them, but they are inactive. We stood there for an hour waiting to see some activity yet saw no bees. We swept the ground filling in the holes we saw, and they cleared it the next day. Even when cutting the grass with a large mower, it doesn't seem to affect them. I'm not sure if they are bees, but if you are allergic to bees, please choose another site just to be safe.

Great space with the river winding through the property. A lot of the sites feel like you’re completely alone because of the forest. I definitely plan to stay here again.

This place is located on a beautiful piece of land. The directions are clear and campsites are well marked. There is some road noise as mentioned in other posts but The river was the crowning glory of this site! I would definitely camp here again!

First off, the sites are very close together. They’re also very uneven and small. Difficult to pitch even a small 2 person tent. Traffic lights and noise was a distraction. As was the constant gunfire.

This was a beautiful site. Carl and his wife were gracious and helpful hosts. The site is very close to the Rum River state Forest. There are beautiful trails. There is also a huge equestrian campsite I hope to use in the future.
