Learn more about this land: Welcome to Constellation Farmstead. We are a multi-faceted agritourism destination combining farming, homesteading and leisure. We are located in a quaint and quiet area of the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We currently have camping space available both for tents and camping with an RV. For animals we currently have 3 pigs, 12 chickens, a handful of ducks and 8 of the softest rabbits you will ever meet. We also have a husky named Lakota who is always on leash with us as well as 2 cats, one of which spends much of his time outside. Our hiking trails are open, and markers are being added. You are welcome to hike through our property on your own or we are always happy to join. Our disc golf course will be open with t pads and baskets once the ground is firm enough to get everything set up! In the years to come, our beautiful barn will become a venue for weddings as well as a suite and rentable rooms where you can stay. We’ll also be continuing to grow our family farm, orchard and of course our growing array of animals for you to visit. For guests we also have a community fire pit in our yard and host fires most nights that we have guests. We also have a sauna that we heat up many nights so feel to let us know if these things interest you.

Constellation Farmstead offers a unique camping experience with a charming farm setting, complete with animals and beautiful surroundings. Guests consistently praise the welcoming hosts, Madelin and AJ, who go out of their way to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, there are some concerns about the lack of basic amenities like a clean toilet and a designated fire ring, which affected the overall camping experience for some visitors. Overall, the farmstead is appreciated for its peaceful atmosphere and convenient location for exploring nearby attractions.

The very quick response time before checking in was extremely helpful as we were coming from NW Indiana. Madelin was such a great host on her own for our stay as the Mr. was under the weather. Perfect location between cities and recreational attractions we were wanting to visit. Nice property and the animals are fun!! Will have to come back when warmer to play disc golf!

AJ and Madelin's farmland is stunning! It was fun to see all the different animals and apple trees that were on the property. They were more than welcoming and had many different add-on experiences depending on personal preferences. We partook in the sauna which was a lovely experience and very rejuvenating. They were fantastic hosts and overall we had a lovely experience.

I was not actually able to stay at Sunset view after all, because of some changes in our plans and the change of location of the wedding we were attending in the Keweenaw, but they were very kind and understanding and refunded me even though I cancelled so last minute. I hope to make it there sometime!
