30+ Acres of cozy south-facing slope nestled in the Berkshire foothills of Western MA. Right along the Westfield River, glorious views of rolling hills and cows and sheep frolicking in their pasture abound! This mid-century horse farm property is being transitioned into a perennial plant nursery with a focus on delicious fruits, pollinator flowers and medicinal herbs - with cows, sheep and more!Pitch your tent on level ground at the foot of beautiful hill, looking out onto a green pasture, home to a couple of sweet and personable Jersey cows. This location is very quiet and secluded, but is near a railroad which often has occasional nighttime use. We recommend ear protection for sleeping if you're a light sleeper.

Camping at this site offers a blend of rustic charm and farm life, with friendly hosts and a variety of animals providing companionship. Visitors appreciate the tranquil setting, though some note the farm's working nature means it isn't picture-perfect. The composting toilet, while functional, is seen as less private by some, and the occasional sound of a train may disrupt the peace. Overall, it's a great spot for those seeking a quiet retreat with a touch of rural authenticity.

I never actually stayed here, as my plans changed. But Margaret was super responsive with queries, which is always a plus.

Wonderful working farm. Lots of interesting things to see. Very friendly dog. Fantastic bathroom made out of old horse stall with cool copper sink and nice touches with composting toilets. Tent camp site was not quite level but we may have chosen poorly.

It was perfect site for my spontaneous camping trip. The host was very nice, and quick response if I needed anything. Unfortunately there is no flushed toilet, but for 20 dollar camping, I can’t complain. There were also animals on the campground.i enjoyed petting cats and dogs. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay in tent at night because it was so dark at night, but my stay was amazing and refreshing😀

The site was great with amazing views (especially around sunrise/sunset). The animals are also very friendly and it was really relaxing. Great experience!

Being used to the city, I had a lot of questions, and the hosts were gracious every step of the way. But I visited in the snow, and with the amount of things present on the property grounds, it was not as comfortable to navigate as I anticipated. Definitely worth a trip if you enjoy camping, building a campfire, a lovely view, and sweet animals. I can see booking this location again.
