Our family has owned property, on Terlingua Ranch, since the 1970's.  Since that time, we've added additional property and our love for this area and our passion for sharing it with others, has grown more and more.  We've continued to value and preserve the area's natural, primitive beauty.

Welcome to our secluded desert mountain escape! With only one campsite, nestled in a quiet valley, you'll be able to unwind and relax. You will be hosted by recognized Super Hosts. There is a wonderful view of mountains and valleys with diverse and ever-changing geography, wildlife such as deer, javelina, fox, birds, and the occasional bear or wild cat. To top it off, the 360 degree view of the unobstructed sky lends itself perfectly to stargazing at night!  The camp site provides a level camp pad, privy (currently under construction - with portable camp toilet and hooks for solar shower bags), a picnic table, wood/charcoal BBQ grill, non-potable and trash disposal on site. There is also a campfire ring so you can toast marshmallows or just cozy up! It is a scenic 45 minutes drive to Big Bend National Park - be sure and visit the Dinosaur exhibit, Santa Elena Canyon, the Boquillas Overlook, the Hot Springs, Chisos Basin! Also, the Rio Grande River has water rafting available, so there is definitely something for everyone!  There are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore - you can hike many trails on our property or within 1 mile of the campsite.  If you have mountain bikes, ATVs/UTVs feel free to bring them and enjoy riding along miles of dirt road starting right from the campsite! We also offer customized local excursions on our 6-seater ATV, which you can reserve and add it on as an extra while making your booking. We hope you'll enjoy the wonderful the beautiful sunrises, wildlife, and solitude as much as we do!  Other Things to Note: - 10% discounts available for returning guests, first-responders and active-duty or retired military personnel - contact Hosts for more information. - You can stay connected if you'd like to, as we do get cell reception on our property. Feel free to unplug during your stay though! - Campers should bring their own drinking water, there is no potable water available on site.  - Absolutely no hunting and/or discharging of firearms allowed on our property. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and we look forward to your stay!

This is a 5 acre tract of land with a beautiful view to the north of a 24,000 acre Mesa. It is called 9 Points Mesa. There are not any close neighbors to this property. This 5 acres has some grass, greasewood bushes and cactus. If it rains it will be muddy. This property is about 1 mile from pavement but a good dirt road. This campsite has ample room for maneuvering trailers. There is a picnic table and fire provided. There is a 4'x8' privy provided. This privy is built on a 4x8 concrete slab with a door in one end. You MUST bring your own camp toilet and haul away ALL waste and trash. Leave it better than you found it, thank you.

Wildcat Mountain offers a remote camping experience with stunning 360-degree views and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the excellent communication from hosts Mark and Michelle, as well as the thoughtful amenities like a fire pit and clean restroom facilities. While the site is a bit of a drive from Big Bend National Park, campers enjoy the solitude and the opportunity for stargazing. However, some mention the distance from hiking spots and the need for clear directions to avoid getting lost.
