Lazy Acres Lake is located 11 miles from interstate 40 in the beautiful farming community of Chesterfield, Tennessee. We have an abundance of wildlife including our own team of Khaki Campbell guard ducks and a piebald whitetail buck named Lucky who enjoys hanging out by the levee. Lake access is included with each site reservation. Life jackets required at all times for those with paddle please. Camp sites 1-3, the boat ramp and main parking area are located at the main entrance and offer gravel roads and parking. Look for the LAL logo on the left gate post and the yellow beaked bird near the road. Camp site #4 the hiking trailhead and our back country campsites are located at the east entrance. Look for patriotic fence post near the road. If you end up traveling a long paved road that leads to a boat ramp with lots of parking, you zigged when you should have zagged. Turn around and lazy acres is across from where that road ends. Follow the access road along the tree line down to the water. The hiking trail is to the east across the footbridge. Look for white AT style blazes for trail markers. The blue blazes leading to each campsite. * All gates are open 24 hours when campers are present.

Campsite #1
Great site with a beautiful lakeside view, several spots to pitch a tent, with a raised platform 10 yards from the lake. Perfect

Lazy Acres Lake
Beautiful views!! Brad communicated VERY well even before putting the money down. Was very nice and responded very quickly. The location is like something off of a movie! Brought my two dogs too and they quickly made friends with the ducks and had so much fun. Super private too!!

Slice of heaven
Brad is an awesome host and answered all my questions. I stayed one night here at this little slice of heaven, and It was so peaceful and secluded. I was alone and had the whole 50 acres to myself! At least that’s what it felt like. The “pond” is lake size. I’d call it a lake. There was a 3 seater canoe and a smaller one there with paddles. (I was wishing I would have brought a kayak!) There is plenty of downed timber that you can use for a campfire. I built a big one near the water! I had some sweet little ducks visit for awhile! The place is clearly under construction and I can’t wait till everything is finished. I will probably go back before it’s finished anyway lol. The road is pretty close, but you can’t see it from the campsites or lake. Oh, and the traffic is very light on that road anyway. Overall I had an amazing time! I’d definitely recommend!
