The Hunter
This was an awesome little trip! Plenty of room in the tent to eat and sleep and walk around! The heater had plenty of gas to keep us warm at night! Plenty of fuel for the tiki torches and PLENTY of wood for the fire! The over the fire grill gate was awesome and easy to use! Our hosts were very welcoming and nice and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! But most of all the owners dog was the highlight of the trip! He sat on my girlfriends lap around the fire for close to 3 hours! Haha! He was awesome and very sweet! Can’t wait to see the other campsites they add in the future!
If you want a fun little camping trip……we highly recommend this place!

This is an amazing spot to get away from it all. The visit from the owner's dog was a highlight. What could be better than morning dog cuddles, coffee and a camp fire?

Danville Gem
What a GEM! Nathan has carved out an amazingly simple and well-thought-out place in Danville, Ohio. I nearly sat there all day, wanting nothing, soaking in the campfire and rustic charm instead of tackling some of the best of Holmes and Knox County Amish country. Everything you need and a few things you don't, but make the stay so easy. I honestly hesitate to recommend The Hunter to all you HipCampers because it may not be available when I want it next. I have camped and I have glamped; this falls somewhere in the middle and is the pick of the lot in my opinion. If you want a getaway in the Danville/Holmes/Knox area, I do not think you can do any better. Peace!

The Hunter
This site was beautiful. So quiet. The tent was so comfortable. At this time there is no electric or water hook up. Owner plans to add in the future. We knew this ahead of time and came prepared. We are already talking about our next visit. Owner has a small dog named Chachi. He was so friendly. love that site was pet friendly. We brought our dog and he was just as happy as we were.

The spot was amamzing and beautiful! We really enjoyed getting out of the city. The spot eas cleaned and ready for us to enjoy our time there. The house was visible from the spot but the nathan let us know when anything was going on and gave us our privacy :)

It is so peaceful and relaxing being here. The host was very polite and made us feel welcome. We look forward to spending another trip there in the future.
