Come to Peaceful Acres farm to enjoy a tiny - cabin stay and the tranquility of nature only 30 minutes from Albany in Pattersonville - Schenectady County. Your retreat stay at our fully equipped - cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is nearby our main horse stable, so if you love horses, Peaceful Acres is the palace to be! The Main Stable Cabin is equipped with one double and one single bed, cozy living room with full sized sofa, bathroom with shower, full sized refrigerator, convection oven, microwave, gas grill, Keurig coffee maker (bring your favorite K-cups), dishes, utensils, minimal pots and pans, WiFi, a TV. Enjoy walking our beautiful - tranquil grounds and meeting our rescued horses, minis, mules and tiny Nigerian Dwarf goats. Take a walk to The HighPoint farm and enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner in our pavilion overlooking exceptional views of the pastures below. Peaceful Acres offers private hiking trails, beautiful views of the Adirondacks, and a peaceful - restorative setting. People come from far away to enjoy our spectacular sunsets, starlit nights and peaceful retreat stays at Peaceful Acres. Guest may access horse- stable time, Equine-Led rejuvenation retreat workshops and walk the mini horses and goats activities. Please note there are additional fees for programs and proceeds benefit the rescued equines. Peaceful Acres is 1.5 miles from The Erie Canal Bike Path. This bike path is set along the Erie Canal and Mohawk River. Bring your bikes and don't miss the opportunity to take in the exercise and experience. The Stable-side Cabin - Tiny House is close to the main horse stable and offers amenities that feel like home without the to-do list. Do you love the concept of Glamping? Let Peaceful Acres' yurt bring you the comforts you desire with the tranquility of nature you deserve. This 30ft Yurt is situated on a hillside, overlooking the gorgeous horse sanctuary below and Southern Adirondack mountains in the distance. The wrap around deck allows you to enjoy a 360 degree view of the area. Inside is beautifully furnished. You will find a queen bed, kitchenette, living room area, and a tea and coffee bar. There is a bath house approximately 200ft down a path that has flushing toilets, sinks, and hot showers. Guests have access to tours of the non-profit horse sanctuary, Peaceful Acres Horses, that is located on the property. There are also hiking trails around the farm that allow you to enjoy the views and the Rescued equines. You can also participate in a Walk The Minis experience, a Boots and PJ's Retreat, or in an Equine-Lead Leadership Class for an additional fee. Amazing Getaway!

Cozy Stable-Side Cabin

We had a great time staying in the cabin for an extended weekend - had everything we needed for a couple of days. The views from the pavilion area were great! The farm was great and you’re staying for a great cause. The horses, donkeys, and goats were awesome and you could tell they are taken care of extremely well. Highly recommend doing a tour or an experience to get to know the animals better - over 80 horses! Great hiking trails nearby, good restaurants nearby, and close to other larger towns as well.
