Flat area with some trees for tent or RV boon docking, also furnished glamping tent. 1 mile to Montezuma Hot Springs; 10 minute drive to grocery stores and restaurants; ; houses nearby so quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am; no wood fires; dogs must be kept on leash. Portapotty in place. Charcoal babecue on site. No electricity, no water, no wifi.

Glamping tent furnished with bed, bedding, chairs, outside solar light, no electricity, portapotty, just 1 mile to the free community Montezuma Hot Springs. No heater so winter campers should be prepared with down sleeping bag.. No wifi. If you visit the free community hot springs down the road, please read their posted rules which include no drinking, no smoking, no nudity.

Easy to find, clear directions. It is in a residential area, tho there is privacy from bushes and trees. The only issue was barking dogs all night and that is out of the hosts control.

Montezuma Hot Springs camp/RV
The camp site is in a neighborhood. There's a lot of neighborhood dogs that go off a lot. I couldn't sit outside without dogs barking at me non-stop. No fault of the hosts at all, but it is something to be aware of.

Montezuma Hot Springs camp/RV
The hot springs are a short drive away ( use the most southern entrance). The opening to the campsite now has a red gate. We couldn't find the bbq to grill burgers and were woken often by neighborhood dogs ( bring ear plugs), but the night sky was amazing and the city of Las Vegas, NM was worthwhile.

Montezuma Hot Springs camp/RV
Although it says Montezuma hot springs is a mile away - it shows that as first pic. In reality it is a gated field in a neighborhood full of dogs that bark all through the night. The gate is great and you do feel safe. Garbage cans provided, also cool. But no fire, which I understand, but it means who wants to sit outside in a field full of bugs to look at the stars? But - easy to find and fair price.

Montezuma Hot Springs Glamping Tent
Very affordable, a comfortable and warm and clean bed in a little teepee! There were chairs for chilling out and the portapotty was clean. The walk to the springs was longer than expected and on a road - but it’s a 3 min drive and there seemed to be ample parking. Whether you walk or drive, the springs are not to be missed. Leave no trace!!

This little site is just very few minutes to the wonderful springs! I arrived a bit late after driving many hours and Katherine was so kind as to allow me to stay in their lovely big tent. Very thankful! It was a pleasure meeting my hosts!! The springs are a real treasure.
