I stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time! It’a relatively quiet, peaceful, and the sky is dark so you can stargaze. I saw the Milky Way, comet Lemmon, and a dozen shooting stars. You get to see both the sunset and sunrise. I enjoyed the swing and the ample amount of space that the site offered. You are close to town for anything you may need. And consider taking a day trip out to the mountains! I honestly did not want to leave, but I needed to get going on my roadtrip. I’ll absolutely be back here!

This spot was the perfect layover for me in Roswell. I booked last minute, and I’m so grateful that Martha was able to make it work. It’s a sweet, peaceful place—very quiet at night—with a wonderful swing that made it extra special. The site offers a full hook-up for the camper, and the privacy made it feel like my own little retreat. I couldn’t have asked for a better stop.

The more Hipcamp hosts I visit, the more I congratulate and appreciate their creativity, hard work and dedication.
This is most attractive yet! Interestingly, now both of my favorite spots are in New Mexico.
An acre to yourself with a green patch, grass, trees and all to be comfortable on while you enjoy your stay on your private ranch.
Absolutely loved it!!
I almost forgot about the two goats that were the welcoming committee.

(Review written by wife) This was a cute spot. I ordered eggs and they were waiting for us in an adorable cooler basket when I got in. Every hook up and ammenity is labeled with adorable labels. The host was responsive. We showed up late in the evening and left early a few mornings later and we spent most of our time out and about so we didnt get to officially meet our host face to face and she was still accommodating and informative about how to get in and set up.

A unique experience where owner clearly tries very hard to provide a special venue. A private space on a ranch, about 100 yards from owners house, set back far from street. Surrounded by dessert and barbed wire fences, neighboring a couple cute goats.
Nice grass lawn with tree, concrete pad, picnic table and bench swing. Gravel pull-through RV space, which was nice because it rained hard, but no mud problems. Plenty of space and length. I did take the turn too tight and was initially too close to the small overhanging tree, however I easily backed up and pulled through with a wider turn. Full hook-ups, including water, sewer and electrical. Needed two lengths of sewer hose for my placement, and water hose ran under my trailer to the right/entry side to hook-up, which was abnormal, but not an issue.
Owner responded to my chat texts promptly. Nice personalized signage on street entry and space. Very glad I was not downtown somewhere!

We had such a lovely time at Martha’s! It was perfect for our truck camper, and there was plenty of space. It’s easy to hook up to the sites utilities, and we loved sitting in the grass, listening to the birds chirp and sing. It truly felt like a little desert oasis and we had a great day!

Desert Rose was everything it promised and more! This was our first RV trip which carried a lot of first time nerves and when we got settled at Desert Rose I could feel the tensions melting away. The hook ups were great, the space is beautiful, there was grass our dogs loved, the picnic table was the perfect setting to have dinner, and chairs on the cement slab watching the sun set and the stars come out was the perfect end to the night. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Thanks Martha for a great stay.

Beautiful and private. This was our first HipCamp experience and it couldn’t have been any better. Well thought out campsite with all the amenities. The night sky opens up to a multitude of stars. My favorite part was the tree swing in the shade while drinking my coffee.

This was an excellent place! Easy to find, easy to check in and very welcoming! Quaint, quiet, all utilities worked and we even bought eggs for breakfast!
Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

This site is lovely! It really is like a little oasis in the desert. We are especially grateful that the grass and roadway were free of spiky plants, because it gave us an ouch-free place to relax and walk the dogs. If we end up in the area again, we’ll definitely ask to stay here again!
FYI - All of the parts of the full hook-up are pretty close to each other, but not side by side. We parked close to the electric and our water hose reached. We had to pull the camper forward 7-10 feet for our drainage hose to reach the dump station, but that was not a problem for us.

We loved this site. We were the only ones so us showing up later at night than expected worked out. Easy to get to even in the dark and the hooks up were right there. Plenty of space for the kids to run around in the morning and loved that our dog could be out and about. Perfect fire pit and the added option to purchase eggs was a great touch. We would definitely stay here.

We just needed an overnight and I wish we could have stayed longer. This is such a lovely spot. It is private with a picnic table and shade trees. Plus the row pecan trees that should be beautiful in the spring. I could not have asked for a better place and if traveling through Roswell it will be first on my list to check for availability.

Very secluded, I loved how it's seems you are the only one there. Just a 15 minute drive from downtown Roswell. You have to get the farm fresh eggs. If I find myself in Roswell again. We'll stay here again in a heartbeat

This was the perfect spot to spend a couple of days on our way through Roswell. The spot is quiet and well maintained. It has everything you need. My dog loved being able to play ball after spending so much time in the truck. Communication was great.

This is one of our top five favorite Hip Camp spots so far. It’s very private and quiet and there’s water, septic, and power as well as a nice cement pad to walk out on when we open the door of our RV.
We liked this place so much we extended our stay…twice.
