The yurt was absolutely beautiful! The inside was super cozy and clean. Kate was an excellent host and was super kind and friendly. There was a nice outhouse right outside and also a little heater which helped keep us warm all night. Very scenic views surrounding the location with lots of great hiking and outdoor activities surrounding the area. I would definitely recommend this spot.

We stayed at Kate’s yurt and it was a cool experience. Everything needed for camping was provided and there were plenty of blankets to keep warm. The views are amazing and it’s a quiet area. Would love to go back with some family members to share this experience.

This was my fourth time staying with Kate, the yurt was fantastic as always! This was the first time i had to use the heater and it worked like a charm (in case anyone is curious about cold weather). I just love my time here and will be coming back in March! Thank you for opening up your space to me, Kate! ❤️

I can't recommend this site enough. We are still talking about it days later. The host was so welcoming, gave us a little tour, and told us information about the land and surrounding area. This place is an amazing vibe and experience with so many thoughtful details. It's comfortable, fun, there were interesting reading materials, everything to make coffee, a sink space setup, a heater, a spot to charge your phones, even a large mirror. A group of people could stay here comfortably as the space is setup with multiple sleeping areas. I also appreciated the little twinkle lights in the outhouse. There were solar lights around the area to light the way on arrival and we enjoyed the gorgeous dark sky and saw some meteor showers. We (and our pack) had such a comfortable stay here and it's clear the host puts a lot of love and care into it. If I'm ever in the area again, I would stay here in a heartbeat.

The camper is super cozy and has beautiful views. There is a stovetop, sink, and composting toilet inside the camper – and a great outdoor seating area outside. It was chilly in late October, so Kate set me up with lots of thick blankets and I stayed very warm! Kate is open and welcoming but also gave me my privacy. Great stay!

My stay at the year on the Mesa top totally exceeded my expectations. Kate was there to greet me and show me around and really has put many magical touches on the place. There was everything I need to cook, do dishes, even take an outdoor shower. I came in late fall, and while it was cold at night, the propane heater was toasty. And the bedding was amazing, so I didn’t even need the heater when I slept. The views and the stars and the location are unparalled. I would definitely come back!

I've traveled extensively and stayed at a lot of places, and this is definitely my favorite place I've stayed. Kate was very welcoming and communicative. The yurt was really comfortable and the vibes were wonderful. The view from the yurt was mind blowing up on the mesa! I spent two says exploring the area, and spent time in and out of the yurt connecting with nature and relaxing. I can't wait to come back - such a unique experience!

Love, love, love! My only regret is that we got in so late and had to leave early to make our t to setup a booth at the Balloon Festival in ABQ. Hope we can go back!

We loved our stay at Kate's! The yurt was so cozy and comfy, and the bed was super comfortable. Kate was warm and welcoming, and just all around super cool. The outhouse was clean and tidy, and I def was able to use it without closing the door... the view was incredible!
100% will stay again, looking forward to our next trip to the mesa!

I had a wonderful experience camping at Kate's place. She is so welcoming and has a wealth of information about the area, which is magical, by the way. Her camper was very cozy and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. No air conditioning/heat, and the nights get quite chilly (no issues, just a side note). There were a couple of snags, easy fixes, that she helped me with right away. The stargazing is out of this world 🌠 and you must visit Plaza Blanca, The White Place, which is below her property. Kate is by far one of the coolest cats I have met on my 3-month road trip around the US and I highly recommend staying on her land. It's about 45 min - 1 hour from Santa Fe and totally worth it. Thank you so much, Kate 💜

We had a great time in the camper. It was a cozy stay with beautiful stargazing at night. The mini fridge was a nice surprise and the camper had our basic needs all covered. The textiles on the walls gave it a fun lift and personality. Kate was quick to respond and helpful in making the stay comfortable. She was close enough to be a great host, while giving us the quiet time away we were looking for. We love the local rock formations and opportunity to stay on land that still has its natural beauty intact.

Breathtaking views, peaceful, quiet with convenient and clean outhouse and outdoor shower!! The host is amazing and accommodating. Exploring the landscape, singing in the ‘amphitheater’ or a short drive to Abique.. You won’t regret the quiet and stillness at night ❣️

Kate continues to be just the best host possible! This was my second visit to her yurt and she was so helpful and generous in giving me the best tips for hiking, art browsing, and even river access to cool off on the hot June day! The yurt also continues to be a fantastic place to rest, recharge, center, think. The light in the space is gorgeous and amplified by the pretty cloths Kate has thoughtfully draped around the windows. Also, I used the outdoor shower - fantastic!! Booked my third stay for the fall and I can't wait - thank you Kate!
