Heaven or Taos 🪐

I was greeted by Kelly when i arrived, who was friendly and helpful with any questions i had, and the property was clean and quiet. The trail up the road leading to the ridge had a view of the valley that was phenomenal for such a short walk. I would absolutely stay again should i pass through the area in the future.

Kelly + her partner saved my 🍑 with a last minute reservation bc my other campsite fell thru. I texted Kelly about the late arrival after dark and she responded immediately and also had her husband come out and direct me onto the site. He was incredibly welcoming and showed me where the electric hookup was. The property was difficult to find in the dark, but that's just due to the pitch black of the area. Doesn't help cell service is spotty. But again, Kelly + hubby for the win helping me arrive! The only thing I wasn't expecting was how close to the road I was on the property, so you can hear vehicles (and some chickens) in the AM. The nighttime sky and stars were worth it though!

Super friendly hosts

While the site, right on the highway, was not spacious or “park-like”, it was great for our needs for an a short overnight stop. It has electric and WiFi, was level for our 23’ RV, and there was very little road noise. Kelly responded immediately and offered all kinds of advice for activities and food. Eduardo came right out to welcome us and help us settle. He was great to chat with and also gave us good tips for our time in the area. Great hosts! I would not hesitate to stop here again.

Mountain and meadow view!

I love the view from spot one…especially at sunset…the rose light glowing onto the mountain peaks is really delicious. Kelly is so joyful about this property and about hosting, so that makes one feel at ease and welcome. It is near the road, so it’s not a middle-of-nowhere vibe, but it’s really beautiful and conveniently close to so much that one would want to see while in enchanted New Mexico. Highly recommend.

We loved staying in our RV on Kelly’s land! The surroundings are beautiful and Kelly was really helpful with directions and recommendations. She even lent us an adapter when we were missing one.

Loved our stay!

We loved our time here! Kelly and Armando were exceptionally helpful, kind, fabulous recs for the area and communciation was top notch. Spot #2 has fabulous views and was easy to access. Yes, there is road noice as mentioned, but it is inconsistent and nominal. Their Hipcamp is central to many Taos shops, restaurants, hikes/parks, and a great place to just chill. The stars, sunsets, and darkness at night were ideal. Staying here allowed us to explore Taos for the first time and we would definitely reccommend and would return!!

We stayed in spot 2 with our 30 ft and had plenty of room! Gorgeous views and impeccably clean spaces and the cleanest Porta potty I've ever seen. We had a blast and the hosts were so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. We will absolutely be back and recommend to anyone that will listen!

This was a GREAT location and easy to get around anywhere we wanted to go! Kelly and her husband were excellent hosts. Kelly shared places to go, she was extremely responsive and they had an adapter for the electric! I hope to visit here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great stay here! The hosts were kind and welcoming, and as a solo traveler, I felt completely safe the whole time. It was peaceful, easy to find, and exactly what I needed for my trip. The porta potty was great for emergencies, but just know it’s a basic setup. Also the sunrises are incredible from this spot! Overall, I’d definitely recommend!

Outstanding and friendly hosts and the location is close to literally everything you would want to do in the Taos area. See the bridge. See the other bridge. Visit the highest peak in New Mexico. Track the Rio Grande through the Grand Gorge! It’s ALL here!

we arrived late in the evening and was grateful that the host met us to help back in because site 1 is a little tricky. I had a 19ft Sprinter and it was fine. Actually we were able to park both Sprinters parallel on site 1. Try to make sure you get there before sunset, cuz the road is narrow and the hip camp is a little tricky to locate. It is off the main highway but close enough to hear traffic but quiets down in the evening. Grateful for the electric hookup and water spout and trash can. Felt very safe. Very good price for all that is offered.

Safe Overnight Spot

Nice level spot just off the state highway. Easy access down into downtown Taos and up to Taos Ski Valley. We didn't get to meet Kelly as we were in and out fairly quick, but we were sent very clear instructions on finding the property, and we appreciated her local hiking and restaurant tips. We also didn't end up using the amenities during our quick overnight stay, but offering power, water, trash services, and a clean porta-potty for this price was very kind. There was some light road noise as the sites backup onto the highway, but we still had a restful night of sleep. We did hear lots of coyote calls in the distance which was pretty cool! Site 1 is the smallest of the three RV sites as it has a large tree off the side, but it was still easy to back into with our 19' camper. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area!

No Frills Spot, Taos Adjacent

If you are looking for a place to overnight, and don’t need any frills, this is the place!!! The directions are easy to follow and Kelly does a magnificent job communicating about the location and surrounding area. There is a porta-potty for campers, and it is the CLEANEST you will ever be in.

Being right on the Enchanted Circle Scenic Drive, the location offers a lot of opportunities for outdoor enjoyment and sights to see; you also have some road traffic going by; so depends on what type of camping you're looking to do; I found it very convenient and look forward to going back.

The views and access to Carson national Forest. I'm disabled and I haven't camped in a long time. Being close to a highway, just in case, was a necessity. Kelly has hookups for campers on two of her sites.

Kelly met us outside as we arrived with instructions. The sight was easy to back into and very private. It was the perfect location for all of our travels on the Enchanted Circle. We will definitely stay there again if we travel back to the Taos area.

Heaven or Taos was an excellent stop for us on our road trip through New Mexico! We spent three nights, which was plenty of time to explore the Enchanted Circle, the Rio Grande River and National Monument, nearby hiking and trails and Taos Pueblo. Heaven or Taos has a few spots with hookups and water and that was all we needed to stay comfortably. Kelly was super accommodating and kind and met us to help pull in upon arrival. We did take many of her suggestions into consideration as we planned our trip and are grateful for her insight!

Private in the countryside. Loved my stay. Loved sitting out under the trees in the mornings enjoying the countryside and the Mountain Views. Walked up and around the hill behind with my dog often. Great views. Site was long and wide. I have a 34ft motorhome and tow a car. Plenty of room. Full hookups. Very nice and helpful owners. Lovely area to explore. And Taos is always great 👍
