I wanted a cabin in the woods forever and my boys built me this awesome cabin! Drive down in good weather (SUV), walk or snowshoe in winter, about 3-400 yards. Beautiful, DRY {No running water}, no electricity cabin. Called "Unplugged" for several reasons: No electricity, No internet and most phones don't work! Bring books! 16 x 20 with a loft with stairs. Queen bed in loft and futon downstairs. Has an outhouse. Stocked with basics for cooking on regular size grill, small grill and new 2 burner camp stove. Cabin is well insulated, uses a Big Buddy heater for heat in winter .The rain barrel is only for water for fire pit! Not drinkable!! You fill the black bucket and put it near fire pit while having a camp fire.Walk,drive or snowshoe down to cabin, about 3-400 yards. "Unplugged". Cabin in the woods!
Lorraine and her husband were an amazing host! The cabin was amazing! It was quiet and private! Close to the rail trail close to state parks! We all had a splendid time. I highly recommend visiting unplugged.! We will return. The dogs give it a thumbs up as well!❤️

Perfect getaway with friends
Lorraine's cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends! Very secluded and wonderfully quiet other than the wildlife. Even when it rained it didn't ruin our trip, we just sat on the enclosed back porch to play games. Lorraine was welcoming and accommodating to make sure we had a pleasant weekend...we will be coming back!

This was our third stay, and as always, it was lovely! Lorraine is so kind and informative about all the amenities and expectations. Will be back again soon!

We loved staying at Lorraine’s cabin. The screened on porch was an amazing spot to hang out and play games. The swing chair was so relaxing! There were lots of amenities inside including cookware, games, and things like that. The toilet was really nice and clean. Bring lots of bug spray and check for ticks!

Best night sleeps ever
This is my second time around at unplugged this time celebrating my birthday. Lorraine left me homemade jelly and a cute little birthday banner to welcome me to my stay. The bed is amazing!!! It's exactly what I needed to head into the next year of life. Hope to make it a yearly birthday tradition.

"Unplugged". Cabin in the woods!
We had a very pleasant stay at the Unplugged cabin. The cabin was cute, clean, warm and comfortable. It made for a very relaxing get away from the city.
