There are 2 separate sites on our working horse farm! Either the tiny home or a private campsite. The campsite is a tent-only campsite (campers bring their own tents). Wander the farm and enjoy the furry faces of horses, mini cows, cats a pot belly pig and more! The site is set up with a picnic table, firepit & a portable camping toilet. There is firewood provided but we suggest you bring a firestarter of some sort. You will not be bothered by anyone during your stay but you should feel free to reach out anytime if you need something! Check out the other listing for details on the tiny home!

You'll love this unique escape! Stay in your private tiny home complete with a roof top deck, sky light & fire pit-- in the middle of a field located at a historic farm in the Lakes Region of NH! You'll find peace amongst the horses, listening to the occasional rooster- surrounded by a field & trees. Located in the historic area of Gilmanton- Close to Gunstock ski area, Bank if NH Pavilion, restaurants, Lake Winnipesaukee (along with many other ponds & lakes) & Endless hiking areas!

Choose to put up your tent(s) or small camper in any of the 4 open fields that surround the historic farmhouse. You can be surrounded by trees, tent near our two horses or overlook the vegetable garden! The farm is located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire so plenty of lake fun to be had within a 10 minute drive. We are also in close proximity to many fun hikes! The farm was established in 1791 and the original farmhouse is still in use today! Animals on the farm include: 2 horses, 2 cows, pigs, lots of chickens, 4 dogs, cats, free ranged rabbits as well as 2 pot belly pigs that will most likely greet you looking for a treat!

Tent on a Horse Farm Lakes Region

The firewood and hammock were a nice touch, and we slept well. However, compared to the beautiful photos on the listing, the campsite was a bit dumpy - alternating dirt, grass, and mulch with dirt piles, and the ground was slanted. The toilet feels like it's full view of the house, and the noise from the road close by was fairly constant. The only animals we found were horses and chickens - no pigs, cows, dogs, or cats. Small things, but all together they added up to a mediocre experience.

Great camping experience on Patti's farm! Grill, firepit with wood, and hammock all set up when I arrived. Easy to find, nice and quiet. Woke up to lovely farm sounds. Definitely recommend!

Off Grid Tiny Home on a Farm!

We loved this adorable tiny home! It’s set in a private space on the property with plenty of privacy. The window over the bed was amazing for a star filled night and watching a thunderstorm roll in. Such a cool space to explore a beautiful area!

With our tent next to 4 baby cows and two beautiful horses across from us, I was so delighted!! Everything went well with the plans and directions . There was a nice table and chairs, a grill, a fire pit and a toilet.
