Ozark Ridge Spike Camps – Quiet Primitive Camping in the Ozarks The entrance to the campsites is north of Hipcamp pin. Please refer to directions of message landowner if you have any problems finding the sites. Enjoy! Ozark Ridge Spike Camps offer quiet, primitive campsites on a wooded ridge surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest and Rocky Creek Conservation Area. If you enjoy exploring the woods, hunting, hiking, mushroom hunting, or simply getting away from crowds, this is a great Ozark basecamp. We are about 4–5 miles from Winona, Missouri, where you can find fuel, groceries, and basic supplies. Each campsite includes a 3 or 4 foot wide fire ring, picnic table, and clearly marked campsite area. The North Sites are designed for up to 3 vehicles each. And up to 10 people at each site. The Camper Pull through site (first site inside the fence) can accommodate the camper plus 2-3 vehicles and the Tent site (the 2nd site) can accommodate 3 vehicles plus tents. Currently we have one open camper pull through group Camp. Up to 10 people. One Tent Camp that can accommodate up to 10 people and 3 vehicles • Horse Camp (message first) for self-contained horse travelers From camp you can drive, ride or walk into nearby public land where logging roads and powerline trails run for miles through the Ozark hills. Ozark Ridge Spike Camps are great for hiking, wildlife watching, mushroom hunting, and hunting during legal seasons. The rivers near Eminence and Alley Spring are also a short drive away. Access: Rural gravel roads through the Mark Twain Forest. Gravel and natural roads may become muddy after rain. Please be prepared. Property Rules • No firearm discharge or target shooting • No parties or large gatherings • No illegal drugs • Alcohol must be used responsibly • Stay within your campsite • Generators allowed but use considerately • Quiet hours after dark • refer to each site for vehicle info Road parking strictly prohibited Restrooms: These are primitive camps with no restroom facilities. Guests must bring a self-contained toilet. Digging holes or burying waste on the property is strictly prohibited. Pull in, set up camp, and explore thousands of acres of Ozark forest.

Our campsites are situated on a small tract of land in the MTNF away from the crowds. They're perfect sites from which to explore the endless outdoor opportunities here in the Ozarks. The Turkey and deer are thick around here and we regularly see a bear or 2. The north side RV camper pull through sight is a spacious site at the north end of our property and can accommodate up to 10 guests one RV and 2-3 vehicles. Your site is immediately inside our fence line. Pull through from either direction. The ground is mostly even. This is a safe private and quiet place to ponder the stars on the clear nights around the campfire or just enjoy the almost constant Cool breeze. There's plenty of space to play catch or frisbee in the evening. You must be self-contained; bring your water and firewood along with your Luggable Loo or some other portable toilet. The land is owner- occupied for added security. Come explore the Ozarks from a safe base camp. See you soon!
