Experience the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation in the heart of Missouri's breathtaking countryside. Local attractions include: fugitive beach, lane springs recreation area, onondaga Cave, Meramac Caverns, local strawberry and blueberry picking farms, St. James Winery, Spencer Manor Winery, the Public House, Ozark Scenic Riverways, 2 hrs to St. Louis and Springfield, 45 minutes to Fort Leonard Wood, Mark Twain National Forest, 1.5 hrs to Johnson Shutins and Elephant Rocks, historic Route 66. For foodies: Crepe Escape, Public House, St. James Winery, Alex’s Pizza, Spencer Manor, Kusina Filipino, Popcorn Corner, Prince Solomon’s Royal Indian Restaurant, Southside Creamery, Master Donuts, Pryors Pizza. We are always welcoming new critters to the farm, most recently our cows Moira and Mabel have welcomed their first heifer calves.

Roadside campsite 1 is right next to our farm animals, with quick access to the water spigots. Due to its location you are more likely to get hands on experience with the chickens, goats, lambs, and ducks. But this means our roosters may also provide an early morning wake up call. Feel free to visit with all animals but be wary of leaving items out where they can access them. They very much feel they rule things here and will get into your stuff.

Kathleen was a great host! If you love farm animals, this is where to go. She has names and stories for the animals they've rescued, hearwarming! The ground was a little uneven where I chose to park she was very helpful in finding a more comfortable spot.

Kathleen was the most incredible host. Her and her family went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable. It was a beautiful place to stay with the best animals - couldn't recommend it more!

This is really a review of the host because I got to there after dark and left before morning light (I was driving cross country with 2 cranky cats and had a long couple days) so I didn't actually get to see the farm! But I did want to say that Kathleen was super communicative, helpful, and accommodating- a top notch host!
