We loved Patricia’s little camp. It was so cozy and welcoming. It was exactly what we were looking for. She knew it was our anniversary and upon arrival we walked in to candles lit scattered hearts and a cute heart pillow on the bed. The bed was extremely comfortable and we were well stocked with xtra blankets if needed. The lake view was peaceful and beautiful. Well stocked with firewood also. Patricia call the morning after we checked in to make sure we settled in ok and she was so sweet. We never had to call her throughout our 3 night stay. We definitely will return

The property was cute and in a quieter area, though much closer to neighbors than I expected. Unfortunately, my stay was extremely disappointing. Basic safety was ignored—the window coverings didn’t provide privacy, some windows didn’t lock, and there was no welcome or instruction manual. This was a big problem since I couldn’t figure out the TV, several appliances, or even what to do for checkout (linens, trash, dishes, etc.).
I brought my dog, and when a neighbor’s dog came into the yard, I texted the host twice for advice with no response. Then, about a third into my stay, the water stopped working completely—no sinks, shower, or toilet. I texted twice and messaged through the Hipcamp app with no reply. I ended up leaving early, and only once I was already on the road did the host finally respond—sending a complicated three-step process to reset the water. That should have been in a manual from the start.
When I told her I had left early and was disappointed, she ignored all three of my messages. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing.
While the property looks cute at first, the lack of safety, running water, guest guidance, and communication from the host made this stay frustrating and unprofessional.

Beautiful waterfront spot. Very relaxing sittjng by the fire or fishing from the shore. The kayak and canoe were so much fun, our dog loved getting out on the water.

Site is well stocked with a beautiful view but the wifi never worked and communication was not always guaranteed. I would also give the site a 5/10 for cleanliness. Even a few days after departure I have not decided if I would return, but I do not regret booking.

Great spot not far from downtown Boston! We took a train down to Providence as well. Beautiful spot on the water, took the kayak out one morning. Bed was not the most comfortable, but it definitely beats sleeping on the ground in a tent!

This place is a slice of heaven. It was private despite being between houses. Close to Boston with a NH vibe. The pond was beautiful, and the chairs on the beach were perfect for a day of reading. The cabin was shabby chic and very comfortable with a large sectional sofa. The bed was very comfortable. There was a wifi connection, but I was unable to access it. But in the end, it was peaceful without electronics.

Absolutely beautiful spot. We will definitely be back. We were visiting Salem Mass. which was only an hr. away so it was a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. Super peaceful and a kayak and canoe if we wanted! We adored the space! Patricia went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

I can tell that the host had some consideration for guests and supplied a few nice things like toothbrushes, snacks, and a fire built and ready to go. Unfortunately, it had a few issues. The overall cleanliness was lacking, the electrical setup made it very difficult to do anything in the kitchen, and mosquitoes kept getting in the cabin because the windows were partially stapled screens. The wifi was poor because it came from a few houses away. The toilet required turning then water supply on and off after each flush. Coming from tent camping, it was a step up, but these issues should be fixed.

This was my first time booking a Hipcamp and it was a great experience. I loved the access to the pond and the bed was super comfy. We didn't interact in person at all with Patricia, but had a super easy check in and out.

Hidden gem- the place and the host!!! Quiet peaceful- water was warm and fish were plenty!!
There is a perfect little outdoor set up and inside there is a comfy couch, bedroom wood burning stove coffee micro and bathroom with a shower!!!
My grandson and I had a wonderful time and I will go back!
My favorite part was coffee in the morning when the birds were waking with me- and then an early kayak soon on the lake-

The property is a bit more rustic that I was expecting. The tables had a bit of dust and dirt. The screens on the windows were not secured enough to keep mosquitoes out and the toilet needs to be fixed.
The view from the property is great. It is on a quiet street with friendly neighbors.

A total hidden gem! I lived the property and the cabin. Well stocked with all you need, comfortable bed, great view. Firepit and all the wood you need provided. I’d love to go back in the winter just to experience the comfort of the home and wood stove with a great setting. Patricia could not have been more amazing! Helpful, easy going, kind and generous! Thankful to have chosen this place for my stay!

I loved camping on Patricia’s land. The cabin/camper has ample room for multiple people, however it was just myself and my dog, and it was perfect. The cabin is perfectly shaded by trees, so it’s not too hot, and there are a few fans in the cabin if needed. The windows also open all along the beach side of the cabin, allowing extra airflow. The bed is super comfortable, and there are ample pillows and bedding available. There is a mini fridge with a freezer so you don’t have to worry about ice melting in your cooler, and the kitchen is stocked with dish soap as well as all eating and drinking dishes and utensils that you will need, as well as a French press and a Keurig. The bathroom shower is an added plus, and many towels were provided. There is an indoor and outdoor fire pit, so no matter the weather, you can still enjoy yourself. She provides a two person kayak as well as a canoe, which is great to take out on the large pond. There are two outdoor grills for cooking, and a microwave in the camper. The best part of the trip was the views of the trees, the sunset and sunrise, and being able to sit on the private sandy beach and watch the ducks on the water. The only thing you need to bring is water, your food and drinks, and yourself.
Things to note: the sink and shower water is pond water, make sure to bring your own water to brush your teeth. There are toothbrushes and shower supplies included! The toilet also runs on lake water and a switch, do not flush toilet paper.

Patricia’s camp felt like a little home away from home. All the basics included in a quiet, green & lush setting. Kayak/canoe access too! Close to SO MUCH including the city. Would absolutely stay again. Patricia is incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. DO recommend this to anyone looking for something a little more off the grid but close to it ALL!

This is a really cute spot! The bed is super comfy and there’s a great outdoor kitchen area where we were able to set up a little travel stove and food prep area, plus a charcoal grill provided for use. Patricia provided us a lot of firewood and we really enjoyed evenings by the fire with the beautiful pond in view. There are some free-range dogs in the neighborhood who wandered into the yard which was a little stressful because my dog is a bit reactive with new dogs, but they were very calm and friendly and left us alone after I sadly shooed them away. There was a miscommunication with the housekeeper so things weren’t entirely in order when we arrived, but Patricia was responsive and kind and went above and beyond to resolve it. We still had everything we needed and a wonderful weekend!

We loved Patricia’s place on the water! My friend, dog and I had such a great time. The weather was great during our stay so we got to float and kayak while we were there. Patricia is such a great host. She is attentive while also giving privacy. Neighbors are super nice. Julie gave us a warm welcome of cold drinks and cookies. My friend I would so go back next year.

This place is AMAZING. No picture could ever do it justice. So peaceful. I honestly wish I could live there. Patricia is also one of the kindest humans. You can tell she really loves this place.
This is also in such a great neighbourhood for dogs. They all just kinda roam and hang out. My dog cried a little when he saw me pack to leave.

My wife and I had an amazing experience for our second wedding anniversary. We flew to Boston from Portland Oregon and the whole process was extremely smooth. The accommodations on the property were spectacular and extremely warm/inviting. Would highly recommend looking at booking this location for a quiet getaway!

Absolutely stunning! I am a traveling nurse coming from Florida. Although the ocean has my soul, the mountains, hiking and fresh water has taken my full attention! I’ve been in Boston for about 3 weeks and decided to rent a cabin and camp with my 13 year old son for my birthday weekend.
It was awesome. Patricia really went out of her way in fine detail to ensure we had an amazing camping experience. She put up a little tent by the lake with binoculars included in case my son wanted to camp in a tent. Provided a s’mores candy bar, kurig coffee cups, toiletries and even offered us full access to her beautiful lake house a few doors down at no extra cost!
The properties include several canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and even a paddle boat! The lake was just stunning to take the boats on. Hands down a wonderful experience… I will definitely be returning!
