This is a beautiful spot, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but with amazing views, and with a very helpful host. Chad always answered very quickly through the app when I asked a question. The water situation is a little different: there are port-a-potties to use (no flush toilets) and there are no water faucets/spigots, but you just have to ask Chad for potable water or a solar shower bag (there is a shower stand available) and he is very generous and kind and will give you both of these items. The quickest way to reach him, and I mean, almost instantly, is through the app. But I never had cell service when I was on the land, so I just physically went to his driveway and asked. Again, he is very kind and seems to want the campers to have a great experience. I would definitely return to this place, but next time, I will bring my own drinking water ($1.34 per gallon at the Hays, Kansas Walmart). Also, there are numerous wild animals - cows, deer, skunks, raccoons, a donkey, some horses...and so peaceful! Highly recommend!

Chad & Cynthia we're welcoming & warm up on our arrival. They escorted us to our spot & the next morning warm cinnamon rolls were delivered to us. The site itself was more exposed than other sites we wondered by but it's still lovely to be along the river looking out onto the cliffs. It was quiet, a close walk to the porta potty and wide mowed paths to walk on. It's a beautiful property & worth checking out.

Chad and Cynthia could not have been nicer or more accommodating! Their place is beautiful and was the perfect place to spend a few days on my drive to the Rockies. The extras, especially the zucchini bread are fantastic! I look forward to another stay and would recommend to everyone!

This is the most serene area to camp. There is space between camp sites allowing privacy. Chad and Cynthia are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. I am already planning our next weekend camping trip.

The views were beautiful! The area was peaceful and quiet. You wouldn’t have known anyone else was even around if you didn’t walk around a bit. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

Very beautiful spot down on the Saline River. Chad and Cynthia couldn’t have more accommodating or nicer despite my asking for extra zucchini bread. Great place to saunter around and look at some pretty central-western Kansas. I look forward to comming back.

We tent camped for 5 nights. Chad and Cynthia's land is so beautiful and peaceful, and the campsite and bathroom were clean. They were so responsive and helpful. We loved the hiking and history of C2T. We'll definitely be back!

This was a great weekend getaway not that matched all my hopes: relatively secluded, great views, some hiking, and great site. I appreciate how accommodating the host was even providing free firewood. This is a great choice for camping in Kansas prairie land while having some forest as well. Would come again!

We loved the scenery, privacy, location. We love the idea that we can take our dog and that other campers are a distance from each other. We will definitely be back! Chad and Cynthia were very accommodating and friendly.

I went tent camping and found it amazing! The directions to the campsite were easy to follow. The host showed me where to go, and there was a nice big campfire next to a sand beach and the Saline river. There was no cell coverage, no people, a very isolated camp where you can really get back to nature.

What a beautiful place to camp. We stayed for one night with our teardrop trailer and it was gorgeous. The best part is that we could let our two elderly doggies roam free. This was their favorite camping spot thus far!! We ordered a loaf of zucchini bread which was so scrumptious! I highly recommend you stop by and spend the night! The owners are wonderful!

This place is beautiful! I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. We had a friendly donkey hang out with us that night and the next morning! We especially loved that there was no one else close by like we were there the only ones there.

We stayed at the site called Wanda’s Place! It was beautiful with the cliffs creating a gorgeous backdrop! Our site was private, quiet and bug free despite backing up to the waters bank! We really enjoyed the hamburger basket along with Cynthia’s potatoes and blueberry zucchini bread! We visited the horses and donkey, and hung out with the owner’s dog Abby! She was so sweet! 10 - Wanda's Place
Never met Cynthia. We followed Chadto our site which was really private and we loved. After reading all the reviews we decided to stay at campsite number 10 Wanda‘s place. Upon arrival there was no wood and all the other reviews said that there was wood cut and left near the firing for them upon arrival. When Chad dropped us off, he said I’m gonna go get you some wood,. We set up camp and went for a nice walk and when we got back, there was still no wood, it was already kind of late in the day when we got there. after an hour or an hour and a half (I cannot remember) of not receiving Wood I sent a message letting them know that we were still waiting on the Wood and within 30 minutes Chad brought it down. however we only got to burn a little bit because as soon as it got dark, we heard coyotes and decided to put everything out and go in the camper. I would’ve loved to have sat there for a few hours while we ate and hung out, but did not get the chance due to the Wood not being there when we arrived.we were on a very tight schedule to get the Colorado for our grandson’s fourth birthday party so we did not have a lot of time. We went on a nice walk, took pictures of our dog with the horses was visited by the donkey the next morning,. enjoyed the peaceful night sleep

I loved the beautiful and calm setting. Just what I needed after a long drive. Directions were perfect. Chad met me near the house and I followed him to the site. It was clean and orderly. I was happy to be able to take my dog for a walk off leash.

The care and accomodations made by the hosts prior to and during our visit were exceptional. Our camping site as well as the landscapes are serenely expansive and full of solitude. We would highly recommend taking the ranch tour. The history of many civilizations on the land was very interesting. Our whole experience was restorative and we will camp at with C2T again. A++

My wife and I spent 2 nights glamping at the ranch and we enjoyed the heck out of it. The yurt was set up with solar power and a heater and was clean. The campground was also clean. The river is close and super clear, about 20ft wide and 3ft deep. The mountain is just beyond that we had a great time climbing to the top of it, the view from there is fantastic. The best part of the trip was the food! We got the burgers and brats they really do provide all the fixings and it came with some tators and they bring it out to you. The first bite we knew it was REAL, so much better then store bought! We made two meals out of it. The superstar was the cinnamon rolls....out of this world! Suck it yoder lol. We bought another to take home. The host where great, very quick to respond to our needs and seem like nice people. We will absolutely be going back.

Excellent management of a beautiful property. Quick responses from Chad and Cynthia, clean, beautiful campsite and an extraordinarily unique area of Kansas the owners have so graciously made available for camping. My wife and I tent camped at South Beach Campsite and loved it! It was our second time back and won't be our last!
