This beautiful & very clean barn (never used for animals) has been turned into an Experience to remember! Sleeps 6 comfortably on Disc-O-Bed XL bunk cots that can handle up to 500 lbs each w/additional sleeping arrangements for 6 more in our Oversized Cabela's Tent. Read more about that in our listing.

Whistle Post Inn just 5 Minutes to Town! This beautiful & very clean barn (never used for animals) has been turned into an Experience to remember! These accommodations are nice, but you'll also be "roughing it." If you enjoy camping outdoors, then you'll enjoy your stay at Whistle Post Inn.

You'll also enjoy a large area to play, eat & relax as you're surrounded by the sounds of nature..The train decor gives way to the "real train" that crosses once in awhile (sometimes at night too) across the way. You will hear the train's horn which will add to your "Whistle Post" experience. Feel free to sleep with the roll up door open or closed.

We will also supply you with:

*Kitchenette that includes a small fridge, ice chest, coffee/tea station

*5 gallon water dispenser for clean drinking water

*Hose water w/sink for washing dishes or hands, etc. 

*Fire pit with surround seating

*Propane fire pit

*Under cover area for your gear

*Large picnic area w/table & umbrella

*Big propane BBQ (propane provided) for your use 

*CLEAN porta-potty (includes TP, soap & hand sanitizer).

*Changing station/tent on the grass. You can also use it for a shower (the shower bag is heated by the sun). 

*Floor mats for tent use when reserving the Tent.

You'll have over an acre of property to yourself including the sounds of the creek running through (Fall/Winter). Plenty of space for several vehicles and your own private entrance.

The Barn itself is $69/night for up to 6 guests.Also available is our Oversized Cabela's Tent (see pics) for 6 additional guests (we will include floor mats). There's plenty of space, but please know there is an additional $25 charge for each extra guest (guests #7 thru #12) over the 6 that the barn can accommodate (where else can you camp for $25 bucks!).

Please include the correct total of guests for your stay in order to trigger us to "unlock" the tent for you. We keep it locked so that it will stay clean when not added to the reservation. 

Whistle Post Inn is also pet friendly. There is a $10 fee for your 1st pet and $5 for each additional pet. Please see rules about picking up after your pets. Dogs are NOT ALLOWED to sleep on the cots. PLEASE respect that rule so that the next guest isn't covered in your dogs hair when getting into bed. Plus these costs are expensive and NOT meant for animals.

*You MUST pack out your trash. Trash service is not available....Our cleaning fee goes toward the monthly cost & servicing of the porta-potty, electricity, the supplies we provide in the kitchenette, propane for BBQ & turn over for the next guests.
