Yellow picnic table
Such a lovely property with amazing views! The site is well set up and the hook up for our van was seamless (and much needed during heat wave). It has a nice mix of sun and shade during the day and we enjoyed watching the last rays of sunlight go down on Mt Ranier while sitting by the fire in the evening.
David's instructions on finding the property were clear and helpful as the initial turnoff is easy to miss.
As an earlier reviewer mentioned, there is a wee bit of poison oak between the yellow and green table sites. It is easy to spot and avoid as it is not in the main walking area. We were able to easily keep our dog and our baby from venturing too close to it.

I loved camping on David's land! The views were beautiful and it was exactly as described. There were more sites nearby but this one was still secluded enough for us to feel like we had our own space. Also, the outhouse and shower were surprisingly clean for what they are. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Camping Spot
Recently rented a campsite on a hill with a breathtaking view of the entire valley and mountains covered in pine forest. The site was perfect for a getaway, with two swings on long ropes tied to a tree â we had a great time! There were also all the necessary amenities: drinking water, a shower, and a toilet. Overall, a wonderful place for a relaxing nature retreat. Highly recommend!

Wonderful
Itâs a very nice place to stay. Nice that you are away from the hustle and bustle. But that you arenât far away from town or heading to the ocean. Only thing if you go make sure to bring a canopy and some shade covering for your tent during the day.

4 th of July camping.
Amazing view of the 4th of July fireworks across Olympia. Spacious sites. Great access to local lakes and Hood Canal area. The Green table had the most amount of shade in the afternoon which gave relief to the summer heat. Plenty of room for our teardrop trailer.
